My wife had her interview this morning and was approved, thanks to God! As well, thanks to all the people that work so hard work and with great passion to provide information, guides and hope to people like me that had no clue as to how I would bring my wife to America.
Thanks again, God Bless all of you and good luck in your process.

Of course Military service is a personal choice of profession and if I or many others were not “Volunteers” then who do you think would be fighting these wars? The obvious answer would be whomever the government decided via a draft, possibly many of you and certainly at that point attitudes would change regarding military service members and their foreign born dependants being expedited or pushed through before a deployment.
The military has very strict regulations regarding a service members availability for deployment and the dependant (foreign born or not) is a huge player in the process of deploying or not. Essentially and in very general terms if an extenuating circumstance exists with the dependant then every effort is made to resolve it before deployment. Yes, because they may die on a deployment but also to ensure the soldiers mind is focused on the task at hand which he is better able to do when he knows that his family is secure rather than worrying about his or her dependants status and security .
And to San Diego, so you grew up in a Military family and your Father served 25 years in the Navy, good for you and much respect to your Father. Although it is doubtful you have no idea what it means to eyeball the enemy through a red-dot, never searched for an IED or never lived with and accepted the fact that your life could end at anytime and you would never see your family again. I’ll tell ya brother, live that life for 12-15 months and it changes a man. You have an opinion and like, well we all have them, but I would ask that you consider a person who lives and serves a purpose that is more important than his own life and maybe if you can see this then your opinion may change.
Grrr is not asking for favors or entitlements, he is simply asking for help to see his family before he deployed again and the government feels the same way by offering an expedited process and this alone should give respect to this service member.
Grrr, I don’t know you but I feel you, hang tough young warrior, lose the anger and have faith in God, everything happens for a reason. Listen to the folks on this forum as they can help guide you through the process.
    Good luck
