Tommy had his interview at the US Embassy in Oslo on May 18th. Hard to imagine having to go to Sweden and being from Norway - strange.

My fiance (Norsk) said they were very nice inside the embassy. Do not forget that you can not take any electronic devices including your cellphone into the embassy - best leave it in your car or with a friend. I waited outside the embassy for him he was in there at least 1 - 2 hours... a long time for me waiting outside the gate with the wind and rain but I did not care. Good Luck - Judy

As long as you got the approval you have 6 months to leave from the approval date so you have no rush. We got our approval on July 12th and he has until Jan 10th 2012 to arrive here.

Congratulations, Tommy got his visa approved last week. I needed to find a co-sponsor. We are not for sure exactly when he will be coming but it will be as soon as he can afford to.

Is there anything I can tell my boyfriend (fiance') that he should know about when he does eventually come to the US? He has never been to the US as I have been the one who has travled back and forth (my 9th trip to Norway will be the end of February) - anything specific he should bring that he could not live without? Hi, I went up to the USCIS and filled out for Case Status notification email/cellphone - noticed they *touched* on 10/21/2010

I got my NOA (Notice of Action) in the mail today.. Notice date was Oct 12, 2010 - One thing I can not figure out is why for my boyfriends county of birth is says Unknown...when in the application many times it says "Norway" rest of my personal information is correct unless they say unknown until they see his actual birth certificate? Let me know if yours says the same. Thanks Judy

I befriended you looks like we are on the same track - I sent mine out Oct 4th and also received the email on Oct 12th - mine is being sent to Vermont. My fiancé he is from Norway. So, if you befriend me at least we can check and see how the other is doing Good luck to both of us.
