Mumbai dates for Nov is posted on mumbai consulate website. can you check if u'r lucky number is in there?

I think they should give preference to IR1 categories than all those Family based categories even during interview scheduling.

Mumbai interview dates. Oct schedule had 14 pages, november only 7. So i guess there is some cut down in the number of interviews.

When you track by number, look for shipment details to get shipment weight.

Even i too tracked this. I think the shipment number is 8970728970. Probably i was too paranoid about the detail but package weight was only 1lbs which seemed bit strange for the number of cases to be shipped. Sydney, Mexico etc had 4-6lbs which seemed right

Congrats Kaash. I just received my interview email packet 4. Mine was completed on Sept 14th but 11 and 12 are sat/sun. Anyhow it is big MYSTERY about dates oct 22 to Nov 28. Sucks

I just received one line email response to my inquiry that my interview is scheduled at chennai for 29thNov. My case was completed on 14th Sept, not sure why they would schedule for end of Nov. I was hoping for end of oct or early nov, this is disaster

Yes this is tough, strange and mysterious. Chennai has not scheduled for last week of october which could be loss of 100 slots. I wrote to chennai embassy but they ducked this questions and said interviews are scheduled by NVC. I went through several posts i could find and have seen people getting interview letters in last week of month. Not sure why its looks different this time

Good observation since delhi does not sort by dates. I havent yet seen anyone on this forum getting Nov interview for any other embassy. Probably NVC is busy cleaning up cases for Fiscal year end in September rather than scheduling interviews.

Yes 2nd week of month might be cut-off to complete scheduling interview for following month. But they are supposed to give atleast 5-6 weeks ahead of interview schedule. Also i guess K1/K3 get more slots than CR1/IR1

Typically NVC gives atleast a month between scheduling actual interview and the interview itself. So i think we should expect atleast by end of this week or september for early november.

Even if its early november, we should get interview letter by end of this week. Lets hope

Did not get any email today about interview. So i guess atleast for chennai i did not get into october.

I spoke to NVC operator today and she said wait till this weekend to see if you get anything for october.

Thanks.KaashParinda, did you speak to anyone at consulate to get this information? Its really sad that we missed just by couple of days. And worst my USPS mail to NVC was stuck for a week in US customs.

Are u saying your interview will be only in Nov. My wife's case is completed today and NVC and i was hoping for october interview. (Chennai consulate)
