As a matter of fact, according to our Tracking List, no one with a PD of March has received a WL yet.

My PD is March 17 2015. I have not yet received a welcome letter. Any tips? I just curious, because I think I should have one by now.

You will get an IL when your PD becomes current.

I have applied for a F2A for my spouse who resides in India. We got the CC on October 29 and received the CC letter on Nov 5. I'm not sure when I'll receive notification for an interview date. Has anyone else around this date received an interview date for the New Delhi embassy? Or can someone tell me how long until they received the letter? And what's the best way to follow up?

My F2A PD = 24AUG2015 ... Only thing I got so far = NOA1.

But in November NOA2s should start rolling out for August Filers.

Yes you need to wait until your priority date becomes current.

My visa category is F2A(green card sposue) and my Priority date is 11/06/2014. On Oct 7 i received the letter from NVC stating

"All documentation necessary to complete the National Visa Center's processing of your case has

been received. As soon as an interview date has been scheduled, the applicant, petitioner and

attorney (if applicable) will be notified."

How soon i can get an interview date ? Do i need to wait till priority date become current ? On few forums i read that after two weeks i should expect an email for interview date.

P.S Priority date for month of is May 2014.

Hey listen man! Once you decide to get married, you are actually becoming part of a 2 person team. In every team of 2, one either pushes the other to superior heights … or slows the other person down. So it seems you got yourself a SlowDowner instead of a Pusher.

SlowDowners rarely change in time to become Pushers … so be prepared, accept it for what it is and deal with it. Sometimes you can manage the situation and circumstances to avoid getting slowed down and may be make it have a neutral effect.

Good News = Thanks to the fact that your parent was already a USC … you may continue with your case. Your wife and children will be able to get derivative visas also.

Bad News = You are now in new category F3 … Current PD for this category is = 22JAN04

You are no longer in the F2 category. Once you got married when the petitioning parent was a USC, your case automatically became an F3 case under the law. You keep your Priority Date. Your child and husband can immigrate with you as your derivative beneficiaries.

Update your case with your child's birth certificate, your husband's birth certificate, and your marriage certificate. The NVC will send you a notice updating your case.

If you give it a try, be honest and don´t get it … you don´t lose much (just the $$). But if you submit an application with false info. , like lying about your wife in the USA and they catch you, you will put at great risk your other process for immigrant visa.

Advice = Be honest and tell the truth, don´t risk it!

Ok, It seem I need to take the risk, I never know if I not try it.

But, other issue is if do they know if you are a beneficiary or do they know if you have a engagement or wife?

do they have all record about you?, that is because I try change the scenario.

On November 12 I had my first interview. At that time I let the immigration officer know that I wished to add my 3 minor daughters to the case. She asked for their birth certificates and proceeded to add them to the case immediately on the computer. Then she gave me a green sheet, which is usually used to indicate missing documents at the moment of the interview. She said : you need to re-schedule a new interview and come back with all docs that were missing the first time. In my case it means come back with my 3 little angels and all their documentation. So in other words, the way this is being treated is as if there were missing or incomplete documents at the moment of the interview. Those missing documents (according to the green sheet) are:

1 - Medicals of the children

2 - DS-260 form for each of the children

3 - Payment of IV – Fee for each (lots of $$)

Also form i-864 and i-864A (AoS) had to be updated by my Mom and Dad to include the 3 children.

So I called the call center that they have here in San Salvador - US Embassy and registered my 3 girls and re-scheduled a new interview for Dec. 10 . Next week we will go do the Medicals and after that I will fill out forms DS-260 for each and I think we will be ready! … Hope everything will be OK!

So that is my experience so far! … I hope it gives you some inside info. and helps you figure out what to do in your case. But one thing I want to point to : No applicant (principal or derivative) can be processed if they don’t have their medicals and DS-260 Form completed.

Hi Rick, how was your interview? I just recently joined here at VJ, i found my case similar to you. Im F1 applicant pd is october 2007. I had my visa interview last Oct. 30,2014, after my fingerprint, initial interview asked me some questions about my father and had me signed the none married oath. Then the processor asked if i have children, i have a 7 year old daughter, she askef my daughters birth certificate and she immediately registered my child and told me that my daughter can accomodate me in the U.S but still have to go through the process. Then after that i waited for my number to be called and this time the CO will interview me. CO asked how long is my father been in the u.s and i said 25 years. Asked about my step mom and brother who are all in the US already. She mentioned about my daughter that was registered a while ago. She immediately asked my CENOMAR (which i don't have) she gave me the paper i signed about non married oath and told me to get my cenomar. It went fast that i did not had the chance to ask what should i do for my daughter. She said to wait for my number to be called and another officer will tell me how to get the cenomar. NSO dispatched cenomar to us embassy nov.7. Nov. 12 my case status went to A.P then Nov. 14 my case status went to Ready till now... i don't know if i am approved. Been trying to call USEM but no answer. So now i am still patiently waiting for my Visa to be issued. My problem here now is how can i start applying for my dsughters visa? They say that under my category i can share my benefits with my 7 year old daughter. I now have an appointment with uscis manila on dec.8. And talk to immigration officer about my daughter. Am i doing the right thing. Please let me know on how you will apply your children for visa and accomodate you in the u.s? Thank you

One thing you can do :

Fill it up with dummy info and hit next (or continue) to see the rest of the form until the end. Every time you move to the next page, data is saved but NOT SUBMITTED. It is kind of like an initial draft, to which you can always go back to, and change data as many times as needed. The important thing is to NOT SUBMIT IT until it is READY with all correct info. You can even log out … and then log back in, and the data should be there as you left it the last time.

hi guys, I have a questions about the DS 260. im starting doing it but I need to ask my mom for some info. the problem is I cannot see all the questions so I can call and ask mom one time only. do you know where can I find the questionnaires the same as in the CEAC site? it wont let me save until I filled it up.

No … NO package. When I wrote this, I thought I was supposed to get a package by regular mail with instructions, forms and all that (just like in the old days) after getting my IL by email, but I had not completely read the whole Interview Letter. I had read only the 1^st page which has the appointment date and time. But then I read the rest of it. Pages 2, 3 and 4 have instructions on how to proceed and what to do. And that’s all you really need.

My case is not a simple, regular one because I have 3 minor daughters that I am trying to add late, so I know tomorrow will not be the end of it. But I am ready for tomorrow. I will have some feed back for you guys the day after tomorrow.

When your mother first filed for you back in 2011 and she was a LPR, you were initially put in F2B Category . Then when she became a US Citizen and notified NVC, you were automatically moved to F1 Category, which makes you one of us here ! Welcome brother (or sis)!

People in F1 Category, whose PD’s are becoming current nowadays, have been waiting for 7 ½ years. So that puts your PD of Dec 2011 … sometime in the year 2019. Yes I know! … the feeling you get in your stomach when you look at that number (2019) … Everyone here has had that feeling before!

Next for you : The waiting game! … When NVC estimates that your PD is around 1 year to 6 months from becoming current … they will send to you the “choice of agent” form … and that will be the next step in the process … You can find more info. on that and the rest of the steps here in this forum.

Hello Everyone, its interesting to find out that so many persons are currently in the same position as i am. I just joined the group but has been following the many many conversations. I need some assistance, dont fully understand the processing time and bulleting period. I called NVC many times and i am not getting through.

My mom filed an application in 2011, PD Dec 2011, at that time she was a permanent resident, she changed her status in 2013 and updated my application form. What is the next step

I got my IL last Monday Oct 6 by e-mail.

PD = 30MAY07

Interview Date = 12NOV14

Now I guess I have to wait to get package 4 by regular mail at my house.. Right?

@mfelix: Rather you can call the NVC and checkout your status which is pretty close now, there is a remote chance that you may get the IL may be this month !!

I have called on today (2nd Oct) still there is no news of IL itseems for me for pd 5 june.

However I request the other guys to update if they have got any news from NVC regarding the IL.

One thing: Notice that we were never able to forecast 3 weeks advancement because there were no IL. So may be our old method of forecasting based on IL is not working so precisely anymore because IL are going out late after VB has been published.
