I think it's very hard to peg this problem, like most problems, down to one specific cause. Society is so complex, there are many feedback loops involved. At the end of the day, it's short-term thinking vs long term, and when people feel hopeless, the think in the short term, which leads them to eat unhealthy foods that provide short-term pleasure at cost of long term health risk. The best solution? Widespread public awareness (like the anti-smoking campaign), plus healthy, CHEAP alternatives.

I think that it was actually GW Bush that set the precedent here, now Obama is following suit.

Yu, thanks for the diagram, I had not seen any like this before, it is quite clear and informative.

Good points. I think that bad teachers are at the core of the rotten public school system in the US. This is just another manifestation of their snubbing their noses at taxpayers.
-
If you haven't you need to watch Waiting For Superman. It will spell out for you the reason that I suspect the bloated and irrelevant Teachers Unions are at the bottom of this kind of terrible situation. What else could it be other than a lack of teacher accountability?

Maybe true, unfortunately. But we should recognize that obesity in USA REALLY IS an epidemic. I, like many, used to think this was an overblown liberal fantasy, until I looked at this: http://www.cnn.com/SPECIALS/2007/fit.nation/obesity.map/
And yes, this is from CNN, a notoriously liberal company, but the data is real, and is backed by other sources. America is getting dangerously fat, and like most of its fat people, everyone's too embarrassed to admit it.

What is difficulty in opening bank account?

This is but one of many reasons that repeal simply will not happen. Because voters are going to view it as old news, and frankly, are tired of hearing about it.

Best of luck and keep checking. Peace be your journey friend.

Yes, don't want to forget your NOA2. This is important to include!

Call the police! Anything they will do will be better than staying where you are! Be strong!

They're going to be looking to see that your partnership is "in good faith," ie, you can show substantive and convincing evidence that you're not BSing them.

I think the key point here is showing exit as well as entry, via the relevant stamps.

I agree with other responses. I don't think the credit situation will affect your visa application, but if you are granted a visa, you will likely have creditors attempting to collect your unpaid balance.

Their lawyer will have to show to USCIS that what you can do no one else in US can do that and with no degrees it would be hard to prove that.
I disagree. With certain fields, especially creative fields such as graphic design, portfolios and work experience are often much more valued by employers than a formal degree. If you can prove your capability, even though you don't have a formal degree, you should be good!

I categorically reject the notion that there is any such thing as a "religiosity gene." Such a concept is based on bad science, plain and simple.

Bringing the originals certainly won't hurt. But don't fret if you've got 2/3 originals and some photocopies and can't find the originals.

Yes, rescheduling may be good option, if you don't mind waiting for several months...
-
Yes, you should be OK, so long as you left within 180 days AFTER you turned 18 years old. This is the key.

Yes, from what you've stated, the case of your father's citizenship seems inconclusive...

correct. You provide the I 864.

The current tax system is the product of piecemeal changes that have been made over decades. We would do well with CTR (comprehensive tax reform), or at least making the process user friendly. Then again, this would kill a 200+ billion dollar industry...

YuAndDan has got it right. The passport is your GC till you get an official GC.

After you go over all these good resources (read in detail), you should be in decent shape.
Required to specify State in which you intend to marry?

As far as I understand, it's not necessary to indicate where you will marry, so long as you intend (in good faith) to be married within 90 days in the USA.
