Card received 6/12/13

Got a txt from USCIS 10pm this evening saying my case had been updated. Went online to find card production ordered (6/6/13). OMG I'm soo excited and relieved! God is Good!

Within 8 days? :-O

You know what, I didn't even realize there was only 8 days to the end of the month, smh. Well here's to hoping lol

Sent in RFE response today. Should arrive at VSC by 3pm tomorrow. Hoping we get some good news by the end of this month. KMFX!

Thanks for the support Vj-Newbie. The only things i can think of that i didn't send with my original package was a cover letter, don't think i sent a copy of my hubby's DL and i only sent summaries of our bank statements, i'm guessing they want to see transactions? we don't have kids yet so no Birth Certs to send.

This is a copy of the cover letter which contains a list of what i'm planning on sending by the end of next week....What do you guys think?

It's a freaking RFE! we sent lots of proof, don't know what else they need, but we'll resend it and hope we get approved. I'm disappointed.

Hubby just told me i got a letter in the mail yesterday. I hope its an approval not RFE. Let you guys know in about an hr when i get home...... Sooo excited!

I agree with YuandDan. I would also go to the original interview. I read on here abt a month ago, a lady who also received an interview date and then got a cancellation letter, but she went to the interview anyway and got an approval...so you never know, like mentioned above, all they can say is no...Good Luck.

Hello i was reading your timeline and wanted to ask, have you tried calling USCIS abt your case? it's been three months since your bio, you should at least have your EAD by now. Try calling them and see. Here's a link to find who your representative is https://writerep.house.gov/writerep/welcome.shtml as to what to say, i'm not sure, but i guess you could tell them you've applied for AOS and the five month time frame has come and gone and you haven't receive anything yet...they may be a sample letter on here somewhere. Good luck with the process.

Hello! I live in Greensboro, and had my Bio at the Durham location but my interview was in charlotte. The Dhurham location was pretty empty when i went, so i doubt they'd have any problem with walk-ins. The Charlotte location on the other hand i have no idea about, but if you live close to it, then you may give it a try. The worst they can say is no Good Luck
