hey, like your name. it fits. i guess i am not particularly new to vj, but i can't figure this site out still, however, everyone is wonderfully helpful and i couldn't have done ANY of this without this site. if you need, i can try to help or direct you to someone somewhere. it is overwhelming. all of it. hang in there. there are a hundred more to come.

my fiancee is from holguin/santiago and has still not recieved his packet yet? has your fiancee recieved their's and if yes, where is he in cuba? i need to know how to help my fiancee. any info would help. thanks, val

hi, i am trying to find out information about my fiancee's 'packet.' maybe you can help? it has been months since i got our interview date. he lives in holguin/santiago de cuba. he has still not recieved his paperwork. is there something i can do to find out what's happening with that?

i just discovered that eliexer needed a passport prior, so i had the number to make his interview. i also just found out that the noa2 expires in may, so i'm freaking out. he's supposed to get it soon, but it is cuba after all. so still no interview date

finally recieved my approval notice! now it looks like a 10 month average wait for an interview?? does anyone know?

Our passport took about a week to receive in Havana, but in Guantanamo it takes about 2 weeks for her sons (they send the info to Santiago I gather). You can then call the interview scheduling number at the US Interest Section in Cuba at 866-374-1769. If a woman (Mary) answers, just hang up and try again (ja ja) until you get the guy that answers. i just got this response. i don't understand my way around this site AT ALL!! no mary, eh? haha. so we have been waiting for 3 weeks now for the passport. any day now, right???
it feels like i probably wont get a date until like january at this point. ugh. thanks for the help. wish i had seen it earlier. it was hiding.

okay, so this is a great site, but i am having a difficult time figuring it out, so if i don't respond, it is probably because i don't know how to.

1st post. becoming edgy. i'm frustrated that i can't get in touch with my fiance easily by phone, and have to wait 2 months for letters. i have visited 3 times this yr, but just can't go back until the interview. no news is crazy making.

hola. new to visa journey and was looking over timelines and noticed you recieved your interview date. i don't know how many people in this same situation you have been in touch with, but i'm wondering if 1yr is the ave time frame to expect for an interview date. i have still not recieved my noa2. i'm feeling more and more like i may need a support group here.
