      we got the package from embassy today, sat april 9. I thought they no deliver on sat and sun hehehe. OK so took 5 days.

      Are you in Cebu? My wife speaks Cebuano , she lived on Mactan airbase for few years , all my inlaws are in Philippines Armed Forces. But my wife is from and lives now on central luzon.

    Quick Question everyone: About I-864. It's just okay that the details will just be entered through computer right? Like I don't have to handwrite everything? I'll just handwrite my signature. This will just be fine, right?

    Anyone here who is on CR visa? Is it okay to have my medical and I'll just present my NOA2? And case is still pending in NVC?

      u need the MNL case number that NVC will assign u once you get the NOA2 and they send u guys over to NVC

    pls help. i been to working to malaysia 2007 for 3 months then back home due circumtances,do i need police clearance from malaysia since i only stay there less 6 months but i file a case against the agency there and here but now the case is closed..

      No you dont need police clearence from there. My wife went there too for like 1 month, the lady treat her like slave so my wife went back to Philippines. They told us we no need from there.

    The office of the congressman called Matt back today like they promised. We were really pleased by their "quickness". Matt called this morning and he received the call back in the afternoon. He talked to the immigration specialist of the congresswoman and this specialist called the USCIS VSC to inquire more about our petition.       having the Congresswoman call for u will help ur case a little bit, but in my experience the Vermont Service Center takes a lil bit longer then other. Texas is even worse. The good news is many who filed same place and around same time as u guys are still waiting for NOA2. I say good news because most likely your delay is just because they are overloades there plus Vermont has more down time due to Weather problems, plus Vermont also processes most of the K-1 visas

    i'm new here in visajourney. Right now, we are processing our K1 visa application but not sure where to apply it. Im living and working in UAE but I was born in Philippines. My fiance and I met here in UAE. Im confused where we will apply our application, US Embassy in Manila or in Abu Dhabi. Based on the members review regarding these two embassies, US Embassy in Manila has fast approval and shorter time to get your visa compare here in Abu Dhabi. I need help. thanks.

      depends on where you expect to be in 6 months from now. If your a filipina you would be better off going back to PI and do the k1 process there, but if ur living in uae and plan to be there for lets say next 8 months then have him fill in the i129f question as us embassy in uae
