  1. our approval was a review of the former pictures and airline confirmations...possibly you can also think to add things you did not include the first time..such as bank/credit card statements showing activity in her country at the time of visit..Also again include pictures...After that we went heavily into a generous sampling of emails, skype time logs showing elapsed times but not the actual chats...include receipts for English lessons, pictures and receipts for flowers and gifts send.

I think most people would be better off to have a wider sampling than only 300 pages of emails. Anything you can think of that paints a picture of your relationship....receipts for English lessons, birthday gifts...etc, etc.

  2. Congradulations!!!!!!!!!!!....it seems they forgot the police report the first time...sad they didnt bother to call and tell you to bring it the second trip..now at least you can suffer the indignities together..))))))))

  3. His first interview was on January 30. The second interview was on April 3. So almost two months.I am worry because why they just asked about his dad for 45 minutes and did not ask even a single question about our case.

my fiance was not in Iran for the past 10 years. He was in Malaysia and London. He is only 22 years old now and he did not spend too much time with his dad.But anyway he told anything he knew about his dad.

so many sentences that say absolutely nothing about the question asked..which was what is the problem they have with his father....if his dad was involved in questionable activities....it will be/should be much more difficult.

  4. Just a rant and a warning folks...most of us are sending documents overseas for our visa interviews. After 6 months I had finally cleared my Noa 2 and NVC...our interview is scheduled for April 5....I ship 24 ounces of papers to Ukraine and pay United Parcel Service $170 to get it there in 4 days. I have a week but wanted to be safe. They of course promptly "lose" the package and amazingly refuse to search for it until 1 day after the package was to have arrived. I finally drive to the regional hub and demand a search..and after 15 minutes out it comes..It was 5 days and never left the city!!!...UPS offered no help to expedite the documents inspite of my pleas for help and were in fact quite rude. So a week later I sit with my papers...and have emailed Rita to cancel out interview and we start again. Federal Express or the United States Postal service which uses Federal Express...This is too important to give your life to people who do not care...Now we will probably miss spending Easter together.

  5. Okay..It was time for my Noa 2..and to be sure I asked for and received a service request....5 days later my Noa 2 was approved.!!

Today...I got a letter on my service request telling my my decision was pending...and to expect a decision within 60 days...also I had emailed

them..and received today another letter saying to wait for the outcome...so the question is...did they look for my file and then go ahead and spend 15 minutes and work it...or are the two functions so seperate..that one "hand has no idea what the other does.???"

  6. Thankfully the first and most unpredictable part of this journey is done now. Noa 2 on the way. According to all timelines, I was due to be approved...but after waiting for 6 months I still requested and filed a Service Request.....I got the Noa 2 approval today...5 days later. I still look back at all the people waiting since earlier in August with sorrow. Why does a 20 minute process take so long at such an emotional cost to us.

My only suggestion is that if you are at your 5 month timeline...please at least try and get the service request. I consider it a safety net that another person will have to find your file and eventually explain where it is. I did not want to be like some of the early August filers..and watch the approvals for September.

  7. The public always has to pay for the effects of illegal activity. Whether it's the bombing of two large buildings in New York, or sabotage abord a $2-billon Blackbird, or the hospital cost of a girl that has been raped . . . that's why we have a big pot for these things.

Unfortunately, the legislator has no influence on illegal actions, otherwise we would have no bank robberies, no murder, no tax evasion, and no illegal immigration either.

Bob..you are one serious dude!!!...what do you do for fun??

  8. That would be that the US Government does not want the American people to pay for legal immigrants. They make us pay till the cows come home for the illegal ones.

    John

Hey !...we get our money back in the form of lower prices on fresh hand picked strawberries...seriously though..I did tell my fiance it would be much easier if she would learn to speak Spanish and could swim...))))))))

  9. Maybe all you people who insist on complaining about people trying to help you should just go away... I generally find most of the advice her to be highly accurate.....and by the way...often read about lawyers or paid immigration specialists making terrible mistakes and taking large bills to do even that.

  10. I am so sorry men are bastards..anyways I would involve financial stuff into it...and I would talk to the ither women and trick her and make sure I am convinced...Its not abt bringing someone to US its abt u being used for someone else's happiness....If I were u i would take more time to be sure how much love is involved from other side..

Best of Luck deal it with patience...keep ur eyes and ears open at all times

yes of course we are all bastards...even the nice ones...our mothers raised us to be this way! Dont trust any man who spends 3 days with another woman...seriously....in spite of what chidren are taught in kindergarden...some things are not meant to be shared.

  11. ; FOR YALLS INFORMATION!!

Brian is a Dutch Citizen and she, Aubrie is an American Citizen!!!! He is the beneficiary, not her.....

that makes the situation completely different and actually much worse...So the American citizen is actually trying to call off the wedding..okay postpone it a year.....it is probably over..((((((( Her parents are not going to help and she basically is asking to withdraw the application....I am sorry Brian...but that is how I see it.

And before some of you scream at this...think of what you would say if it was a man telling a young girl the same thing.

  12. okay..I will say what many people who read your thread are probably thinking. She wants to wait and get married in

about 17 months because she can only spend $3500 on her wedding???...SERIOUSLY?????...Of course this is an important day in many girls lives...dreams and hopes etc. but in spite of your saying how upset she seems to be, her priorities are completely selfcentered. She thinks she deserves to have everything "Fabulous" and needs more money to feel important. If you arent positive you are going to be VERY rich very soon....you may want to think about this...because

you will have this same problem over and over. Your marriage might be a disaster. I would at least make sure she understands that you will have to cancel the current visa if you need to wait 17 months....if she says yes....Perhaps

    it is for the best.
