    oh wait is your son 17 months old or 17 years old? and is your US citizen spouse the biological parent of your son? if not then u have to go to a regular processing of naturalization...

    I am married to a US Citizen al eligible to apply for the naturalization. The requirements mention I need to be physically in the US for the last 18 months prior to the application. My son is 17 months old and I also want him to apply for the neutralization. What is the process for applying for his naturalization? Does he need to be physically in the US for 18 months as well?

    No he doesnt need to be in US, u can just apply for CRBA (Consular Report of Birth

    Abroad) he is automatically will be given a citizenship base on having a US Citizen parent... u'll have to call and asked the Us embassy for more information, this is what i did for my daughter a year ago.

    The same thing happened to me its been a week sinc emy interview about all I got is approval online for I-30 and hard copy for it..but no card production on my I-485 it still in Testing and Review....

    I don't know if my GC is on way sigh :(

    :( i hope you'll get the approval notice soon... im a lil bit worried too... but somebody say we might just recieved it on the mailbox cos the online status aint that reliable...

    Hi everyone, I just have a question since my interview got approved last sept. 13, I only got 1 email about my status online says "CASE STATUS: DECISION.... I never get a email about card production is this normal? Is my card on the way even if I didnt get a email about card production? Everyone that I read on this forum gets Card Production and Decision case status after aos interview, thanks for answering my question im just a little bit confused...

    Hello everybody!!! Just had my interview yesterday Sept. 13 at 1:15pm... So my interview is 1:15p we are late because of my husband thinks he knows all the places and he dont wanna use a GPS so thats what happen we were late for about 30mins. We got there 1:44p, i handed my appointment letter and seated, 5 mins later a tall white man in he's 60's called my name i thought he forgave us for being late and he will interview us but when i came he said we were late for 30 mins and we should be there in time, but he is so nice he said that he will try to interview me if theres a free time but theres no guarantee that can happen cos he have to interview those people on time, he said if we can wait or we can re schedule the interview, and my husband said we can wait.

    I feel like crying because we were late and theres no guarantee that i can get an interview yesterday and that we have to re schedule for another day, so another stressing time for me, i dont wanna feel so stressed anymore, so while sitting im just saying a prayer hoping i can get through with this interview today. After 10mins of waiting thank God the IO called us back again for interview! yahooooooo!!!

    The IO escorted us in hes office and asked for our ID's he took my passport and remove the I-94, he didnt asked us about our relationship, he just look on my birth certificate, our daughter birth certificate and the marriage certificate thats it and he said he's satisfied with our 4 yrs relationship with daughter together i am so shocked that our interview last for 5 mins only and i was approved! I am actually expecting a RFE cos i didnt have a medical exam with me cos im having trouble looking for cheap doctor so we went to the interview without I-693. And my vaccination record DS-3025 is 3yrs old and he accepts it. And also we only have apartment lease and pictures only but he never asked for those and that my I-130 is pending because i need to send my police cert form phils but til my interview day i havent get to send my police certificate cos i've been waiting for it in the mailbox that my sister sent 3 weeks ago and i havent get it yet.

    I think my husbands job helped too cos he's pleased that my husband work for the state he is a correction officer. Overall it was a very easy interview, the IO is so nice, my husband and IO actually laughing but i dont know what there talking about cos im just filled with happiness knowing im approved. Yesterday around 6pm i got a email stating my case staus changed to decision "we had registered this customers new permanent resident status".

    I am so happy all the stress are gone, i am happy im getting a 10 yr GC too. Thanks everyone in this forum for those who answers my questions and specially to our Almighty God just keep praying and be confident that everything will be alright.     I just have a question my I-130 has been pending since 2009 because i need to send a police certificate from phils. now my police certificate is on the way sent by my sister from phils when i get it in the mailbox, do i still have send the additional document for them to approved the I-130 even if my GC is approved already???

    hello everyone, on aug. 27 i got my ead, and today i just got home from getting my ssn, everything went fine... i hope my aos interview will go smoothly as my ead, ap, and ssn.. im so nervous everyday knowing my interview is 1 week away... may god help me and everyone going thru this interview, im still having problem with the proof of relationship that i have to show on interview :crying: :crying: :crying: , i think im gonna get crazy anytime!!! just to update u guys, im always on this forum reading your posts but im just too lazy to type some words... :P

    Hi, how does your interview goes? I have similar situation as you... i will be having my interview this sept. 13 but i havent get my ead so i cant get a ssn... we dont havee any joint assets and liabilities as what the interview notice told us to bring, can u share your interview experience cos i am worried about this joint stuff that we need, does the IO understand that u guys dont have any banks statements?

    what joint stuff you have??

    since we don't have EAD yet we cannot have that much joint stuff

    I only got:

    -Lease agreement

    -Health insurance

    -Life insurance

    -Time Warner bill

    -pics of us and with in laws

    -bday cards from each other and in-laws

    -receipts of gift and furniture

    -facebook print out

    I hope this stuff can help me..but above all FAITH in our GOD:-)

    Hello mrsGORE, i dont have anything thats on our name on it everything are on my husbands name the lease, utility bills etc. so now hes trying to put my name on everything, i only have lots of wedding pics, our daughters birthcertificate, our old letter from each other... thats it. Hehe i think u have enough not like me... im totally in trouble if we dont get this done before interview, also i hope we get approval of our ead cos thats the only key to get everything done.

    Hey Abby! What happened? Hindi narenew yung NBI clearance mo prior to your departure sa Pilipinas? Hmmm.. That's gonna be a pain. NBI needs your ID and your thumb print.Hirap kasi sa Pilipinas npaka ancient pa.They could have made an online renewal nlng sana.Did you find any solutions na? I hope everythings gonna be okay sa papers mo . :(

    hello dianne, eto nloloka n nga ako e hehehe, tumawag ako sa philippine embassy sa nyc npprocess nman daw sila ng nbi ang problem ko kc ung finger print ko, sabi nila mgpa finger print sa local police station where i live, i tried to go to the police station pero ayaw nila gwin ang finger print ko kc hinahanapan nila ako ng id n my current adress ko ngayon, e wala pko non kc nga passport and visa plng ang meron ako wla nman nkasulat don n current address ko... so yun im trying to call the phil. embassy again pero hirap tumawag, if i can get my finger print done by filipino consulate. pinapahirapan pa nila mga applicant, pupunta pa sa police station e pede nman sila ang gumawa, government employee nman sila... hay nku basta masosolusyonan ko rin to, lalo na my interview date nko sa sept. 13... thanks! buti kapa card production agad!
