  1. takes only a week to two weeks to receive once you order... the only time you need to send w2's is if you filed jointly in the past with someone and need to prove your own personal income or if you can't get a tax transcript for 2010 but they should be ready by now. I sent my actual 2010 return with w2 (not transcript for 2010) only because i had just filed when we got to nvc and they didnt have it ready yet. Sent transcripts for the other two years.

Hi, We filled the I-864ez and they did ask for his W2, but only the most recent one, we also sent in the previous two tax returns.

they lost all our paperwork, so we had to send it all in again, and when i spoke to NVC they said they only need the most recent W2. and it was not joint filing, just standard my spouse sponsoring me.

    hope that helps

  2. glad to see every one is getting moved along, after we sent the I-864ez they wanted more info, forgot to include something, in the meantime, i changed my passport to my married name, applied for police cert, and now getting my ds-230 together, once the IV bill is paid, i can send that in.

hoping to get it an interview by april/may (fingers crossed)

just to let people know, if you do get all your paperwork ready you can be done with NVC pretty quickly, i think, they have responded to us pretty well with emails etc, and as most stuff is done online, its good.

me and my husband have been taking time with getting paperwork together etc, so its been taking longer than it should.

  3. Could anybody help me?!! :(

I've received my NOA2 on Jan. 7 from TSC but up to now my documents haven't received by NVC!!! I've send couple of emails to nvcresearch@state.gov but still nothing has happened!!!

What should I do? How long would it take to pass this stage?

Is there anything that I could do to make my process (now or in future) move faster?

I thought the whole process would take up to a year but it seems that a lot more remains :( :( :(

    you wanna email NVCInquiry@state.gov

remember to put your case number in the subject line, petitioner name and d.o.b, and benificary name and d.o.b in the body of the email too.

  4. Hey, we got approved on november 23rd, and waited. then after two weeks, we emailed NVC, and they told us they hadn't received our case, and I had to scan a copy of our approval letter and email them again. then waited, and on January 14 Th., we got our emails from NVC with our case number and information.

so I would wait a few more days, if you only been waiting ten days, but I would say 2-4 weeks before NVC will get in touch. but definitely email them, and get things moving.

  5. Wow, I really hope there's some good news in this thread this week...

yea me too, I went to texas too, and can't believe people are still waiting.

Your NVC process was so fast, mine is going slow i think

  6. been doing all that ... i dnt know wats wrong with them ..

I see you filed the I-129f along with the I-130 from I gather, the K3 route is being fazed out I think, and its CR-1 as it takes pretty much the same time, and the K3 costs more, and is more paperwork.

Most people I have seen trying that route, have had delays getting the I-130 approved because of the filing of the 1-129f has been holding it up.

you may end up with the CR-1 visa anyway, its much better, and may just disregard the K3 and put you on track with the CR-1 as you are already at 5 month mark with no approval.

It just my opinion, but I think that might be whats happening.

  7. Hi everyone, got back from my trip visiting my husband in the states, miss him already, but had no trouble at all getting through airports even with pending visa. so just thought i would share that, so other people can not worry.

so we got approved on november 23rd, and heard nothing. so I emailed NVC they said they had not received our case from USCIS TEXAS and i should email them a scan copy of our approval notice. so i did, and waited, and waiting, and waited some more.

then yesterday NVC emails my husband twice, first one about our case number and invoice number, and the second one about choice of agent.

so we logged on paid aos fee, got recept by text on his phone.

then i emailed them my choice of agent, and i am going to fill the form and mail it to be sure.

my husband also emailed them choice of agent, because we got confused and thought we both had to email them, but my husband is acting as my contact for all this, so hopefully that will be fine.

oh also they spelled one of my middle names wrong on there correspondance, so i sent them another email to correct the spelling.

so far that is it, i am going to send off for my police report, and we are both waiting to hear from NVC about the next step. so approved on november 23rd and got NVC case number on January 15th.

  8. another touch yesterday. I honestly am on the edge of my seat every time i log into uscis.

    so it got touched on the 4th, 10th, 18th, 19th, and 22nd.

I know i said getting touched doesnt mean anything, cos some people get approved, without seeing updates at all. but its hard not to follow it, I hope we don't get RFE or something worst, cos they have looked at our case alot. at least I think its alot.

just hoping any day now, we will hear something.....I know its still early for approval for august filers, I really wasnt expecting anything until dec or jan, you know i was expecting to wait the standard 5 months.

    heres hoping

  9. When you e-mail the DS-3032 you can make him (the petitoner) the agent to send the papers needed cause usually that is what people choose to do. If you, the beneficiary, wants to send the papers than that is your choice :) I believe we got confused there :) cause I'm the petitioner and my wife, the beneficary, will send the DS-3032 and make me the agent. And I will send all the papers including the DS-230 that she signed.

  10. Hello All,

I'm new to boards and have been following along for several weeks and want to thank all of you for sharing. It's been very helpful to me and I wanted to contribute a little bit to help keep spirits up. I'm on the same boat in that I've been transferred to TSC from CSC and so far it's been pretty good for me. I hadn't heard squat from CSC and since being transferred to texas it's been touched twice. Here is my time line.

    Married: July 16, 2010

I-30 Sent to Chicago Lock Box: August 9, 2010

Chicago Lock Box confirms receipt: August 12, 2010

NOA 1: August 26, 2010 (two weeks! Not bad!)

NOA 1 Received in mail: August 30, 2010

Transferred to TSC: November 2, 2010

    Touched: November 10, 2010

    Touched: November 18, 2010

So I'm optimistic that the transfer will be to the benefit of everyone here. Good luck to everyone, I'll keep you guys posted.

    -Michael

your the same as me, sent in august 9th, notice date is 17th august

    transferred november 2nd

    touched on the 4th, 10th and 18th

    fingers crossed

  11. oh its so boring waiting, after being transferred to texas last time it was touched was on 10th November.

Just want something to happen already, I know we have a long way to go, and this first step is the longest but its so annoying not hearing anything.

and its also annoying seeing people who have filed after me get NOA2, that's BS if you ask me.

our notice date was 17th aug, and our priority date was the 9th aug. not sure if that means anything, but come on texas.......

Just to add just checked my case, and it got touched today 18th! they must be doing something up there....

  13. This should give us hope. Check this link http://britishexpats.com/forum/showthread.php?t=677790&page=11 and you'll find August filers who has been approved. Whew. Hope all of us here will be starting to get our approvals soon.

Don't be confused, those people sent there I-130 via DCF filing, which is different from how most of us here have filed.

They have filed straight to the consulate (Direct Consular Filing) because there US spouse is eligible to do so, most of us here are doing the long wait, where we sent it to USCIS.

and DCF is a lot faster to process, that is why those august filers have had approvals.

  14. Here's hoping! I like the optimistic route! :star:

well I was simply saying that not all people get touches on the website, or updates.

So just because your case hasn't been 'touched' on-line, does not mean that your case is not being looked at.

and still no one has answered my question on why there are no processing times for texas on this website, I assume people on here have been processed by texas in the past, and there should be some updated info like there is for california and vermont.
