      Yep! I'm here in Maracay, but only for 4 more days. That's going to be a very hard goodbye, but you understand that very well!!!

      This week we're working on a tourist visa (fingers crossed!) so maybe she can visit the states next year and meet more of my family.

    As a gringo who still needs A LOT of practice with his Spanish, I try to avoid Caracas when possible and fly into Valencia. Plus Valencia is much closer to her house.

    Now on the other hand if you guys are traveling over in the Valencia area we might run into each other :)

    pero gracias a dios, I'll be on a plane headed to Venezuela in 3 days.... it's been way to long!!!

    It's not going anywhere yet! :(

    Given the choice of 3 years of free school in Venezuela or 8 years of "in debt for the rest of our lives" school here, we're waiting a couple years to get started with the process.

    I am going to try to get her a Tourist visa this year. Very little chance of success.... but hey, its worth a try!
