StephanieM got a reaction from Samantha78 in Interview Day
Not only is it recommended, it is REQUIRED. If you do not make it, your SO will be denied. I believe there is an option to reschedule, but NOT recommended because God knows when you will get a cita again. I'm sure another DR member has more info about that.
Point is, GO TO THE CITA!!

They give him six months to leave DR and come to U.S.A. If he lets this time pass and does not use the visa, I'm pretty sure it is revoked. The green card will expire in two years, and then you have to remove conditions (more paperwork) and he will then get a 10 year green card. He is elegible to become a citizen in 3 years. I hope that helps!
    Congrats again!

You do not need to include a copy of your spouse's passport. Also you only need one document to prove citizenship for yourself (BC or passport, but not a big deal) Other than that it looks good. Good luck!

StephanieM reacted to R and L in NVC process, AOS and IV packages
We're trying to prepare the AOS/I-864 package and the IV package...and almost finished.
Trying to be ready whenever NVC will be ready.
So my question is, as we will most likely try to use James's shortcuts and try to send most of the papers and packages before we get the NVC letter by mail (planning to call NVC and when they inform they've sent the instructions letter to each phase, we can send the package/papers already before the actual letter arrives in snail mail.)
So have been reading the instructions, but could somebody who has done these stages already advice what is the check list exactly on those letters NVC sents?
Or do we have a link to those letters somewhere on visajourney?
    Thanks a lot!

There is a certification similar to this one at the bottom of the translation. Thanks.
HAHA, if I went off the things I heard from people's mouth I'd drive myself totally crazy. I know exactly what you mean, thank God we have websites like this to clear things up.

Hey did you include your married name where it says other names used or not at all?

Yes, but I think the ultimate goal is to be approved. So why send excessive information if not totally necessary to be approved. As if this process is not stressful enough don't burden yourself with making more work for yourself.
