I had to wait an abnormally long time for mine as well. I'm pretty sure it was 4-5 weeks from teh time I knew they had our file til we received packet 3 from them (but there was also canada day and independance day mixed up there as well...)

ahh I see well hopefully CBM you will get your NOA2 and Tater we will get our interview dates!!!! *fingers crossed*

why a month?

COngrats on getting it all together I did the same received mine on the 13th and sent on on the 14th...

if your man is a military man there should be a person on his base that helps push these things through. I was speaking with a girl yesterday that had everything push uber quickly (read a few months from start to finish) and she has her interview at teh consulate this week as her man (a sargeant sp?) is deploying in Sept. Just so you know you can check something off the checklist and send it back before you have it AS LONG AS you make sure you have it before your interview date. The only forms you need to mail back in are the ones listed on teh 1st page of the letter...Ie. I sent my packet 3 back on July 14th to Montreal and I just had my medical today. Just thought you'd like to know...
