    Just got the Interview date! March 16th 9AM!!

      They mailed it with Packet 4. I was able to call DOS and get the date about three days before she got packet 4. My Fiancee is in Singapore so I know it is not the same in every country.

    Need some comment please: My flight is March 2 POE-Chicago. Question is, Is it okey to bring different kinds of CANDIES like 5kinds and each kind is more than 5pcs. made from Philippines? It will not be confiscate at the Chicago Airport?

      I also brought back candy and other food items from Singapore and some of it was from Filipino stores so I do not think it will be a problem.I came through Chicago all three times.

    I'm Home! I was stuck in Chicago bcoz my flight from Chicago to Greenbay was cancelled bcoz of snowstorm but everything went fine when i decided to take a road trip. :D Goodluck to all!

    I've been at th Japan Embassy today at the Pasay.. I'm requesting a police clearance but they told i should go to US embassy first and get the a request from them.. I don't know what documents i will need when i will go to US embassy to get a request from them for my police clearnce.. Any idea?

    Passed the medical now it is time to send back the checklist and get an interview date!

      I am the petioner so I will answer this in English. My Fiancée is from the Philippines and is living in Singapore. In Singapore they send you an instruction checklist and medical information in Packet 3. You have to get the medical done and then verify you have all the documents and then you send them back the completed checklist and then they contact you with the interview date.

      You can also call DOS at 202.663.1225 then 1, 5, 0. I was on hold for 20 minutes but they do seem to know what is going on with the case at the embassy.

    Getting fed up with the Singapore embassy. They don't answer their phones and give meaningless responses to emails.

      I see what you mean about calling them. Twice I got through to a real person only to be told that it was the Philippines representative even-though I know I pushed 3 for Singapore.
