ok guys, i have been married for 2 yrs and we are both from nigeria, i am a USC and just filed for my husband in march, everyone keeps telling me that i have to change my last name to my husband's inother to prove that we have a bonafide relationship? i recently lost my father and it has been really hard to deal with it and now they want me to change my last name? i love my husband very much, he is my soulmate it is ok with him if i don't, the truth is that i will rather keep it until i am really ready to change the name..... has anyone with CR1/IR1 ever been denied a visa because of this? has anyone been approved for visa without changing their last name? thanks

take a deep breath b4 the interview and relax...just remember the questions asked are things you already know about your wife/husband, it is just like someone asking you to tell him/her about your wife/husband so don't worry you will be fine as long as it is real........my case is still in NVC hopefully get a interview date soon......good luck to us...

hey guys how do you check for your case or sign in if it's with the NVC, my documents was sent to NVC on aug 26 and was told it was recieved sept 2nd.......please i need your help to check on how to sign in or check the case with NVC....thanks

you have to wait for all instruction from NVC coz they send u to specific Dr office, have ur case being completed yet, which visa category r u and what is ur priority date PD. plz share

thanks for your reply....no my case has not been completed yet still waiting for reply from NVC, just posted my timeline you can review it..... i initially started the k3 visa but it was Administeratively closed by the NVC.....

hello i filled for my husband and we are waiting for an interview date from NVC, just needed to know before the interview i know he is suppose to do a medical report, will it be in Nigeria since he leaves there or UK? also will he be needing finger prints from Uk? Am a bit confused since a lot of people have been having fingerprint from UK and Medical clearance.......thanks for your help........

I filed for the K-3 visa and got approved for the i-130 form,(NOA2) there has been no reply from the i-129 form that was sented in, so my question is what do i do next? i want to put things together to make there is no delay....... or am i missing something?.....your suggestation or opinions is highly recommended...... thank you
