      I will be gone for 17 days... it gives us 12 business days to get the paperwork done for marriage. The Adoul told Hicham that we only need 10 business days and that he will do his best to help us get it done! :) Thank you

    Absolutely devastated and heartbroken, Hicham was denied the K-1 Visa. After over four years of being together, we are going to be separated as a family indefinitely. We are so sad, and beside ourselves, but will keep moving forward :'(

      It definitely feels that way with all the obstacles in the way :( I am so exhausted and just ready to stop having a computer between us.

      I am so angry at this outcome and feel let down by my government.

      I don't know how or when..... I was blessed with a financial gift to be able to go December 2012- January 2013 (last time I was there) with my kids. Our plan was to get married that trip, but paperwork issues got in the way. I work in my home taking care of children, I go to school at night, and of course my daughters, I don't want to have to leave them again!! I don't have an assistant for my job right now like I had my last trips, who could run the daycare while I am go...

    We are in AP, but it's ok, she said 1-2 weeks, and I did send a LOT of evidence. Hope the Consular Officer Lady likes our pictures :) Patiently ( maybe not so ) waiting.

      I mean I had a 250 page (150 pages front and back of sheet protectors) petition, I am sure they had to work hard to file that correctly ( I learned after the fact there is a better way to make it more efficient for them :/ )

      Although the wait is hard, I am really impressed with how fast the K-1 process went so far. I know that we are blessed by this and I really appreciate the USCIS right now. I know that some people are having a hard time, especially with CR-1 petitions. I can't help but want to advocate for them, they ARE working hard for sure. Please don't hate me for saying so! Just want to be encouraging, after 4 long years of waiting... we are so ready, we understand! Patience is not easy to...

    I am so happy it is 2014. This is our year, I can feel it. It is officially 4 years that we have known each other, I think it is long enough, and I believe God feels the same hehe :)!

      yes he really did and is planning to do it again in a couple days! I was mad at the countryside since I had not talked to him in 8 days.. and I only left Maroc 2 weeks ago! But he redeemed the countryside with a phone call from the top :) I have read your story in a post and I hope things go well for you and your boys. I'm praying for everyone on VJ :)
