    Hello again.

    Congrats on the visa! You were approved so now its just a small wait.

    I'm going to be in Panama City, Fl so not too far away from Texas/well a bit of a drive.. There is the possibility of Tim being posted over in Texas so you never know we could be neighbours in the future.

    Is your man in the army? (I know that Fort Worth has the army base).

    You should have your interview date soon. I was giving it two weeks before I started to worry. Looked at flights to sydney and they are $59 virgin so at least its not too rich to get over there for the day.

    So you will be moving to Texas?

    I didn't get a combined card. I received one for the resident id, work authorisation and documents for travel.

    Things are going slow over here. Waiting to get my EAD card so I can start working, going crazy sitting at home. Its more the feeling of not doing anything 'important' and making cash. Hopefully I get it soon, they say to allow 30 days.

    Its been just over a month since my bio appointment and I received an email on the 12th that my EAD and travel had been issued. So n...

    How did you go getting into the US? Did immigration take their sweet time with looking over your paperwork? The embassy said to allow 4 hours to clear immigration?

      I know how you feel darl I had to wait for Wayland to get his taxes organized before we did ours as being a single man in this country is ####### and they tax the hell out of them. But yeah am doing great waiting on biometrics reschedule letter so I can get on and do that as have to drive to Atlanta for it. But we have 2 cars now so I am mobile and can get around on my own learning my way in Augusta. Just packed up presents for my daughters for Christmas and sending them off today. It's go...

      Good luck Ang and no worries with customs ok it's a breeze, they are nice in LA anyways lol did my application for SS number today and was too easy all done and in my married name will get that in 2 weeks. We have a few things to do as well as my husband is a vet so I get some military id and insurance and have to get a clearance for mu hubbies work, but it's all good and love it here. So good to be back home

    Arh. I can't do it. Today I was going to give notice to work, but they have got me a cake and pressies for my B day. Really not the best day for that. Running out of time. (they have no idea about all of this).

      I had my letter in hand, it was too funny.

      Work was out of the loop as I have had the job only during this process, dont think they would have hired me otherwise. Feel so guilty. Tomorrows the day to confess.

      Lucky You Angela....I think I read somewhere that the cards had been altered to just one with your picture on it ??? Check the USIC website...u know Im jealous!!

    Is everyone elses work authorisation vaild for one year only? No the two years with your green card?

      The green card overrides the EAD so the theory is they only issue the EAD for one year as it should take less than one year for your green card to be produced which will replace it :)
