A good friend of mine is engaged to Jiayang's sister. One day at lunch he was bragging about her to everyone. Being a smart aleck I told him if she had a sister to hook me up. He showed me Jiayang's photo and she is beautiful. We started corresponding by email, having to use Google translate, and later progressed to chatting over a web-cam on Yahoo IM. In May of 2010 I travelled to China for a 3 week visit with her and her family. We got engaged and started gathering all the documents we could think of. When I returned to the US in June of 2010 we started the process of getting a K-1 Visa.
