  1. I called the NVC to check on my case status cz we got RFE then we submitted again all the documents and evidences theyre asking and so im checking whats the latest status after they received our checklist, then the AVR stated that after a review of the submitted documents theres still missing blah blah..and they mailed us a checklist last Jul 18, 2011 but we havent received any mail...and so im freaking out what seems to be lacking again, we did submitted evrything they asked for and now what somethings missing again...and so i log in to NVC website and i got an error message :

    Sign In Failed

    • Please be advised that the case that you have attempted to access is not eligible for further processing by the National Visa Center at this time. Please click on the Contact the NVC hyperlink if you believe that you have received this message in error.

from what i heard this error message is a good sign....how true?...please i need advice.....hoping this is a good sign please God intervene plsss....

  2. Good that you have a clear indication of what went wrong

Most of the time it is a 2-3 week delay after they get it. I have seen some longer and some within 2 weeks. However, you now know what to do... Good Luck with the rest of the process. I am glad I helped and didn't confuse the matter any worse.... B-)

YEP Arghhhhh Dreaded RFE... I agree

    thanks a lot....

  3. Read the letter that you posted originally. The directions state,"You will need to complete and submit a new form with the

changes noted below". Basically, just give them exactly what they are requesting. You can't go wrong with that.

i did filled up and submitted I864 then i my mom as co sponsor and we are at the same household she filled up I 864 A..but we failed to submit the 2010 tax return and proof of relationship like my birth certificate...i need to send evrything again..thats okey..

do u have any idea how long will it take for the interview date after i send back all the papers again?...aaggghhh RFE

    Thanks a lot...

  4. This does appear to be a RFE as they are requesting the checked items that they mentioned. Did you send in your 2010 Federal Income Tax return? What relationship are you to the beneficiary? Did you provide documentation proving the relation to the sponsor?

I guess I am missing something Casprd. In the first lines of the OP's post it states, "provide any documents which are indicated as missing or need additional information".

Isn't that a request for evidence in the form of asking for the missing items?

i think your right,..they are asking for the 2010 income tax then proof of relationship to the joint sponsor which is my mom, so i need to send them back only the lacking documents or the whole I 864 package again?...

  5. Not really an RFE, just a notice from the NVC that they are still waiting on the AOS package it appears. Everything listed is related to this. Tax returns, I-864 etc. Did you already send in the AOS package?

we already send in the AOS I864 / I864a from my mom as co sponsor....

..is this the dreaded RFE?....we already send the ds230 then this email came asking for the DS230..i called nvc and automated voice says..we have received the checklist letter response last.....wait for 6-8 weeks for.......

Now i really dont know what to do.....any info and advice would help...

  7. Once the NVC system shows that it has received your AOS fee, it will generate the AOS/I-864 itself. This may take anywhere from a week to a month after you send the I-864 fee at the NVC.

Right now not all countries can email these documents to NVC but you must wait until you get the barcode before you send it. This requires NVC to accept and have AOS bill as paid...instead of in process...we also paid today so we will be waiting until we see this info on the site as well...good luck

Check out the flow cart for NVC too...that helps to explain what's happening at the same time..its two different things going on ...at the same time...

    http://www.visajourn...me%27s_Shortcut

thanks ..so i need t wait for the generation of I864...i checked the AOS online status and its written there PAID..NVC sent IV fee bill thats why im paying it now online..

  8. im a lil confuse....so pls help me with ur advices....we are on NVC process now spouse visa...we paid the AOS bill online, submitted choice of agent online to nvc then nvc replied with the IV fee bill to be paid online too, but im wondering how about the AOS packet the I 864 i think..according to nvc letter i got, it states there that i shouldnt sent AOS if it wasnt asked for by the NVC...and now they emailed me with the IV fee bill....im confused cz everybody here is sending their aos packet and then their DS packet....do i need to download it somewhere and mailed it to nvc? or emailed it to NVc since NVc told me that they prefer email communication....plsss hellpppppppp......dont know what to do

  9. hi to all...

just a question needing answers...im a lil confused now...we got the approval email for the I130 petition last feb 10 2011, the bulk approval via email by ms angela barrows...then after a week i got the hard copy of the NOA2 by snail mail, im expecting that it have attachments or some papers to be filled up again by me the petitioner and my wife...but then all i got is the approval letter...where is the packet that contains the AOS and stuffs that me and my wife need to fill up again?...do i received it separately from the approval notice? 10. Hey Saylin, I got Google Voice working from the UK. There's an even easier workaround from here. Just set the language the GoogleMail account uses to ENGLISH US, and activate by sending a text to a USA telephone.

Works a treat - free calls from my PC to any phone in the USA or Canada!

Thanks for putting me onto this!! It will save Val & I a lot of money calling NVC!! good.gif

ive been using gmail too and its saving me so much money...my wife calling from the philippines using gmail...its all free

  11. its been 8 months or roller coaster ride for me from csc to tsc .....and now that i got the approval for my wife...we are worried about the Medical exam at st lukes, my wife was diagnosed with uveitis last dec 2010 and now shes still on medications...steroids pills, steroid eyedrops to stop the inflammation on hey eye....we are worried that it might effect the medical exam or might cause her to fail the exam..we dont know....anyone here has any idea? another roller coaster i guess......

  13. Remember how we had all been transferred to TSC to "expedite" our petitions?

I suspect the new term that's en vogue these days is "rapid response"

i emailed ms angela barrows yesterday and here is her response to me

Good evening. Your email was forwarded to my office. Sorry my response is in the evening. I will have someone look into your case and provide you an update by Friday.

    Regards,

....crossing my fingers that i will hear some good news this friday.,,,,

  14. I guess on Angela's email and got it right!

Here was her response to me:

    Ms. Sharma,

Your case had already been assigned to an officer and an action should be taken by close of business tomorrow. I will provide you with an update at that time.

    Regards,

    Angela K. Barrows

can you share the email address of angela barrows pllssss....

  15. I am totally with you. How long we stay like this? tossed out, carelessness, ignored and begging for help.

I contacted senators - they told me to wait for 60 to 90 days

I contacted congressman - they said 36000 cases has been transferred and nothing we can do other tha waiting

I sent email everyone - no response

I contacted USCIS andf placed serice request - did nothing ( i placed 3 already)

I contacted tier 2 personel - they do not have any information regarding my case

    No contact number for TSC

What are we supposed to do? Just stay idle and do nothing. Just waiting for any relief.

Or Do something and filed a lawsuit against USCIS for carelessness. (OCt/Nov filers are getting approved and we are f**** ignored.

If we are united and filed a lawsuit against uscis, they will perhaps move forward and do something with our case. I know many of us are afraid that it will just delay our case. What are you gonna expect anyway rather than delay by just waiting for their reply? Days are passing and we expect something happen to our case, but get a disappointment and frustration. We have been suffering from last 7 months. It will take years for TSC to finish 36000 cases. Besides, we will sue with monetary damage over 100 million for making us go through the hell.. If someone contacts the laywer, then we can contribute the money to sue. That is my thought.

Do you chose to do something or do you want to be in the feet of TSC?

    count me in.......

  16. yes I have contacted my congresswoman, they did nothing for me. They just said that if I havent been approved by March, then I should call them and they can try to push them a little harder. She was surprised that cases were being approved in 3-4 months at CSC and reminded me that they used to take a year (trying to make me feel better, didnt work). I also wrote to USCIS ombudsman, put in a service request over a month ago, emailed TSC, called USCIS, so I have been quite proactive. Nothing has seemed to work so I stopped trying to be proactive and am now just waiting..waiting..and waiting some more.

same here...done evrything but nothing seems to work out right.......
