  1. Is it true that NVC processing and completion is backed up... waiting for the VISAs to be completed that was sent on June 16th then got notification of missing documents on the 19th of July. I send the missing the document the following day and they received it July 27th. It has been more than six weeks and I called them and put me on priority list and supervisor check up... that was a week ago and I haven't received any information or completion...

Any info will help please. Thanks

  2. Hello everyone,

Just wondering if anyone had this experience. I'm the third party agent for my in-laws to immigrate here in the US. I got an email with a request 06JUL2015 CKLST COVER LETTER stating below. One thing I would like to find out is why would they require another copy of my Petitioner's (my wife) birth certificate and I made sure that there is a copy in there for both my mother and father-in-laws application as I have a copy of everything I sent my self. Why would my wife the petitioner all of a sudden it's the only thing missing to complete the case? I'm baffled that they don't have copies of it. I called NVC and they said that's all they needed and I ask them that it's already in the packet I sent and they didn't answer directly and said that's all it needs to complete the case. I'm really shaking my big head.

Now, I'm sending it this morning and it'll get there probably Saturday and not be reported as received til next week and another 30 plus stinking days to wait. UNBELIEVABLE!

Can someone shed a light to me please to ease up my frustration?

    Thank you so much.

    ______CORRESPONDENCE INSTRUCTIONS:_________________________________

When responding to the National Visa Center, please include the bar code sheet that came with this

letter. Failure to include the bar code sheet may cause a delay in the processing of your case. The bar

code sheet should be placed on top of all documents being submitted for this case and mailed to the

    address provided.

    ______F - PETITIONER BIRTH CERTIFICATE:____________________________

Please submit a copy of the petitioner's original birth certificate or a copy of the certified birth document,

obtained from the issuing government authority. The original birth certificate must contain the

petitioner's place and date of birth and names of both parents. If the birth certificate is a certified copy of

the original, it must come from the issuing government authority and it must contain annotation by the

issuing government authority indicating that it is an extract from the official records.

If a birth was never officially recorded, or if it is impossible to obtain a birth certificate because records

have been destroyed or the appropriate government authority will not issue one, you should obtain a

certified statement from the appropriate government authority stating the reason your birth record is not

available. Please submit this with secondary evidence of birth. For example, a baptismal certificate that

contains the date and place of birth and both parent's names providing the baptism took place shortly

after birth; an adoption decree for an adopted child; or an affidavit from a close relative, preferably the

applicant's mother, stating the date and place of birth, both parent's names, and the mother's maiden

name. An affidavit must be executed before an official authorized to take oaths or affirmations.

Information regarding the procedure for obtaining birth certificates is usually available from the

Embassy or Consulate of the country concerned.

All documents not in English or the official language of the country in which the visa will be applied for

must be accompanied by a certified translation. Your translation must include a statement signed by the

    translator that states the following:

    - Translation is accurate, and

    - Translator is competent to translate

  3. Call the NVC to follow up on you interview schedule, the petitioner or the beneficiary can call for schedule.

I called them everyday ever since I got the Case Complete except Sat and Sun... I get the same response... I haven't seen any scheduled for other ones also except for people who got Case complete last week of December...

Why just certain week they schedule - why can't they schedule as soon as it is complete... just doesn't make sense...

  4. It seems like NVC delayed the Scheduling for Interview Dates... there hasn't been anyone I've seen scheduled from recent Case Completion...

I keep getting the response from CSRs that the Second Week of Every Month is when they schedule for Upcoming Month... My case has been completed since last week I haven't heard anything.

Can anyone shed some light here, please? I want to know, I want to know...

  5. Come on NVC hurry, I'm sure i'm not alone when i say this .. Especialy to all those like me waiting for that SIF and CC news... This time of year is when 75% of peoples depression days hits. And for us folks waiting on petition news that jumps it all the way up to 100+ %..lol.. So, to all out there waiting Good Luck and GOD bless us all in getting our loved ones home .... Wayne(Booger)

    Hear, Hear!!!

  6. How long does it take for NVC to get the IV BILL Invoiced once they received the Choice of Agent form?

Somehow, I called them and said they received the Signed form from my wife on November 10th and I'm still waiting for Invoice - any reason please help explain, THANX!!!

The thing of it is that I am not the Choice of Agent - I have an agency helping my wife in the Philippines - could that be the reason it's delayed? What's difference between me acting as the Choice of Agent... this is really getting frustrating!

  7. Maybe CSC forgot us we are may filer and nothing happened in our case... untill now no noa2 approval, me and my husband started to be hopeless, we are in pain now and its so hard to feel this way... :crying:

Don't lose hope... you said they touched your file twice last week, believe me it's coming... They didn't forget you - they're just not that good in response and always keep you in the dark but there is light at the end of the tunnel. I always check up on your profile see if you got your approval... I know you are only 2 days ahead of us but it's coming - hang in there!
