Were almost ready to send in our AOS,anybody in here send there paperwork to chicago?can u give us the exact adress pls?cuz were researching on this and the site gave us 2 adresses,kinda confuse,so we wish to hear from somebody who actually did the same thing.Thank u so much Vj members..have a great day!

Home from the office where i suppose to get my social security number,guess what!im 5days late and it wont process for me,i got here last jan.19 so my expiry is this coming april 19,so they said i should have went to there office 14days before my expiry,its a #######!i never know this thing!thought long as u get married within 60days prior to ur entry everything will be fine:(Now anybody experience this?what should we do now?

Uh..i feel relieve,thanks for that good explaination sis,thats what were both thinking too,theres no point of getting SSN if we cant apply for a job yet anyway,i just freak out this morning,i found out i cant get any cuz my I-94 will expire in 10days,it just made me confuse and worry,cuz theres a blank on the AOS form that asking for
SSN,so now i can just leave that blank then..again,thank u so much and i really appreciate ur help:)

its better u get a SSN if u have already a green card,But if u want to work already when u have EAD u can go back to SSN and show ur EAD they will give u a social security number with DHS authorization,that means its only valid on the date of EAD.,Then u can go back again in Social security office when u have a green card to show ur green card and they will give u another social security card with they same number without DHS authorization.I have a frend that arrive last year its october 20...

october 2010 and she just file i think this month of AOS,,shes also tight of money and filing of Aos so expensive too lots of money.Leave it blank or zero means wla kang social security number,Before u submit all your documents make sure to have copy them all..for in case if u have interview soon in ur AOS.

Its been a while Vj'rs..what up?here..taking our time and enjoying our moment together.Anyway,we got married last 4th or march,now waiting for our paperwork from the civil surgeon,getting ready for our AOS.researching and gathering ideas as what more important paperwork needed to turn in..we would appreciate any ideas and advices.thanks!goodluck everyOne!

Really if you're going to your interview,make sure all your paperwork is perfect cuz then you have nothing to worry about,and anyway the courier fee is already included on that visa payment...

I arrived at US embassy exactly 6am yesterday,my interview scheduled at 7:15.went straight to the guards area and fall inline with the immigrant applicants,didnt take long im inside the building,fall inline again now there asking for the DS forms,and the bank receipt,they gave me my assigned #,keep focus on the screen wait for my # to flash talk to some people there once in a while,i heard my name have to fall inline again for the finger scanning,then go back to seat,toke a while then saw my ...

The new online confirmation letter is now called,Immigration address confirmation sheet,My name and passport# on it,interview date and time,UID# and my address.dont even occupied the whole half sheet of a short bond paper,just wonder if this is the right one?same as yours?anybody?

My honey just reached the call center again and never let that agent hang up on him till his done and saw the exact appointment letter we're going to print out!Weww..interview's gonna be on the 4th day next month..thanks GOD!and thanks for everyone in here being so helpful..

My fiance called the call center,and the first time we ever get through,they asked for every details needed..said,''ok we just sent your appointment confirmation letter'' to our surprise,an online application link they sent us,cant figure out what to do,what to print out.been trying to call back but as it is,cant get a hold of them...sucks!anybody experience this?and figure out?they said our appointment being set already 4th of january 7:15 in the morning but no peice of p...

I tried the online thingy,wont let me..says i need to wait 2days after i paid before i can do it,e nung 16 plang ako ngbayad e..got to wait til monday na nmn...ugHhhh!wag nmn snang sa2bihin puno na january,i need my interview next month or i run out of time,GOD...help!!

Anyone in here did the DS form online?as i was trying to set an interview appoinment i noticed i got to have a bar code?and i can get that from filling up DS160 online.and im surprise we have to pay the visa fee first now b4 we can have an interview date.any idea pls?

Hi. we do not need DS 160 for K1. go to Immigrant VIsa section of the Appointment system and look for K VISA SCHEDULING SYSTEM. that is what we are going to use. i have'nt had my schedule yet since my case is not yet in the system. but that is what we are going to use. some friends here told that and have read from forums. you may find it also. good luck... i hope i will get mine too.
