Good luck with having your EAD expedited directly through USCIS because I've tried it and they deny me. The best way to have it expedited is through the Congressnman, I've tried it and it work for me. You can call the Congressman yourself, I didn't have a problem when I call mine. Well every state is different just to make it easier have your wife present during the call.

When you called the CM ask for the person that deals with immigrations.

Really! Can you tell us more about your request? Did you have to proof financial loss/hardship? I am hoping to file an expedited request myself and if you could give specifics to how you achieved yours, I would greatly appreciate that!

Actually I didn't have any proof of financial loss/ harship. I just called and send over some document releasing my privacy to them along with all NOAs regarding the application. I prayed and have Faith that God would make happen and he did.

Last week i called the Congressman in my area to have a request for my I-765 (Employment Authorization Document) to be expited and today i was infrom that my EAD is approve along with my AP......YAY

For future reference if you're mailing such important document you might want to use a courier service it will make it their and moreover you can track it to see if reaches the Chicago Lockbox on time. Did you file the I-130 outside the US?, if so, this might be a factor why you haven't receive any NOA as yet. FYI try to do it from the US next time this will be a whole lot easier.

WOW.....That's a long wait because i filed mine I-130, I-485, I-131, and I-765 on June 15 and receive all 4 NOA by the 22nd of June.

Normally you should have receive your NOA within 10 days you file your petition. I think you should call and when you call USCIS please have the petitioner available if you're not.

First let me say i am really loving this site......After doing my reviews on VJ my curiosity has extend to the point where i just want to know what is the relevance of this infopass interview? Do the infopass help expedite the GC process?

Also i have read a lot about other people process on VJ about them calling the congressman to expedite the EAD after the biometrics is done.

When you call the congressman in you area, what is the conversion all about? (this question is related to the people who have call CM before.

What do you say to him?, what does he says to you?, Do you talk to him directly or secretary? If secretary how do you relate the request to that person?.

My question today is with regards to biometrics walk-ins. Do they only have specific ASC walk-in locations or it applies for any ASC location?

I have received my biometrics appointment notice and it's for a later date, but after reading reviews on VJ i realizes that applicants walk-in before their appointed date. I want to know how does it work and (or) does it applies to anyone?

Do y'all think that the walk-in biometrics will expedite your process?

I am currently in H2B status and it is about to be expires (6/30/10). I am a spouse to a US Citzen, I've filed for my I-485 and I-130 on 6/15/10, i've received my NOA and my question is can i still work with my current employer while my I-765 is pending? Can i use the NOA as a proof that i filed for employement authorization?.

I really need you help on what to do because i really don't want to stop working (love my job).
