The most beautiful sentence of the day: On January 24, 2011, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E).
-
I just bought a second car which will be my husband's. However, he needs to get his state driver's license first.
-
I am glad I have been calling the visa specialist every day. I was just informed of my fiance's interview date: March 9 at 6 AM! Super lucky because I will arive in the afternoon of March 8 to Santo Domingo!
-
We'll say "I do" in a couple of weeks...
-
We got married.
-
Today is my birthday. In the mail I found an envelope with a permanent resident card inside.
-
I purchased his flight. So expensive! It is really amazing that I did not have to declare bankrupcy as a consequence of this process... However, I am very happy!
-
We went to the Social Security Office today to apply for his social security card. We also went to the courthouse and got our marriage license.
-
Happy!
-
AOS sent! Yay!

We made it home! Despite having lost our connection at JFK...

First work day in the US and fiance is already registered for English classes (will begin tomorrow) and has a gym membership. We mean business!
-
We received his state ID in the mail today. Unfortunately, the ID's expiration date is the same as his I-94's expiration date.
-
Today my husband had his examination completed by the civil surgeon.
-
My husband will have his biometrics appointment this week. Yay!
-
My man is SUPER cold in the mornings now. He is layering, wearing a winter coat, wearing a hat, etc. He is so cold he trembles. Poor thing. He has NO IDEA of what is coming...
-
So much to do and so little time... This process is TOO stressful!
-
I am not sure whether we will get married or not. I am glad we took the fiance visa route because, if needed, we can go apart without needing a divorce or breaking any immigration laws.
-
I wanted to cancel tomorrow's wedding. Really, more like postpone it. Yet, he just told me that if we don't marry tomorrow he will not marry me at all. Lots of thinking to do...
-
I am going to write a letter to Santa asking him for a NOA 2 from CSC as my Christmas present.
-
Next: AOS.... Ugh...
-
USCIS status changed to "card in production." Faster than I had anticipated and with no interview!
