      I am happy my review was helpful. I did forget one more factor. The interviewer also asked us if either of us had any children. I told her I have a son. She asked, where is he. I told her he lives in NYC. She said ok, so he is an adult child? I said yes and she said ok fine. So I hope my review can shed some light on some factors that may be involved with other's cases.     Interview is set for November 13th. More than likely we will reschedule and postpone this date as we have other priorities at this time. Does anyone know the validity time span of a IR-1/CR-1 visa? I mean, how long do you have to use it before it expires?

    Thank you Samoray! I saw that you have been enduring a very long journey! My husband and I have been separated for over 9 months now. The USCIS takes their time when they feel like it. We try to be a couple steps ahead of them, but they treat everyone differently. We will be praying for those of you who are waiting for your interviews and/or appointments with the Consular's Off...

    Wow! You got your interview in one week inshaallah? Thats very wonderful. I pray you will be together soon. We finally got our RFE reviewed and they approved our application. It's being sent to the NVC now. I hope the time goes by fast! We are happy for both of you! I hope you and your family is safe in Egypt for now! Salam
