you pay the $140 and $15 at Banco Popular and the $210 the day of the cita plus Domex fee when you are approved. Get 2 seperate receipts for Banco Popular. and yes any Banco Popular but it may get frustrating because some branches don't know about it and they have to call another branch. Oh and pay the $210 in US Dollars at the consulate. and have some dollar bills for domex because those girls claim they don't have change.

  12. Where is my interview date? An interview date should not take 2 months. I do not know what is taking so long. This whole process takes too long.

  16. First of all, thanks for all the support that everyone has given me! This is a great site!! Well, after 24 days at the NVC my case finally was sent to the embassy, so hopefully we can get an interview date in August. I hope my prayers are answered.

Hopefully. I'm hoping for an August as well. Based on other people's timelines it's looking for September for me.

  17. Does anyone know why the NVC would have my file for over 2 weeks? I see for most cases that the NVC only has the file for a couple of days. I have called a couple of times and they keep telling me my file is receiving some additional processing. What could that additional processing be? Does anyone know?

the letter states that it could take around 4 weeks, so sadly before u can call you need to wait those 4 weeks... hopefully you receive some notice soon!

It can be a number of things. To tell you the truth I was suprised mine case was only there for a little less than two weeks. I'm sure everything will be fine. Just wait a while longer.

  18. Hola!! Are there any updates to your timeline? I fear the DR consulate is moving very slow for interviews.

  19. Congrats!!!! We should have our "sitas" around the same time...good luck

  20. Hello. I live in DC as well. Has benefited you in anyway? Also, it seems like your process is taking quite a long time. Do you have any idea what the hold-up is?

  21. I will be watching your timeline because it is just like mine almost to the day.

  22. I will be checking your status often because our NOA2 was approved on the same day. It will be interesting to see if our timeline remains the same as far as the interview and medical and so forth.
