Hey, so I know for sure that we do not hafta be present for the interview, we can't enter the building either so they will be on their own in there. I've been reading a lot of embassy reviews and tons of people have written very detailed (sometimes painfully detailed)descriptions of the CJ experience. I'm not sure I can go either so I will prolly be phone support!

Are you on the east coast? I was just looking at some graphs that show a history of a much shorter wait at VSC. You may be lucky!

As usual, not 100% sure of any of these steps but it looks like we do just wait for our boys to receive packet 3 and then the interview with all those papers listed on the CJ e...

I just came across some confusing info... I'm reading something here that says there are some steps to take at the NVC stage. I thought it was all waiting until we get that packet 3 in the mail. Hey I was just reading some things on the VJwiki about forms we have to do at the NVC stage. I was not expecting to do any of this during this stage, I thought it was all at the consulate and later in the US. I'm from CA but right now I'm in Mexico with my boyfriend. We have a baby due mid Feb so it looks like I'll be heading up to do this by myself in a month or so. I'm pretty angry at how slow things are going. I know they just work in an office and we are just names and numbers to them but I wish there was a way to know more about what will happen.

Looks like you guys havençt got your NOA2 yet, either. Any rumors on why things are lagging so much right now? I was hoping ours was on the way but we filed a month after you and with the holidays coming up it looks like were at a standstill... Let us know if you find anything out!

Nothing yet for you either? We were hoping for out NOA2 by now but its looking like the holidays will slow things down. And the timelines show that no one from July has gotten theirs.... sigh. Let us know if anything happens for you.

I was reading over a conversation that you had regarding police reports in Mexico. You were getting replies saying they do not exist. Did you end up finding one or taking anything in it's place? THANKS!
