On 11-3-2014 received news that my husband's appointment is going to be on Dec. 2 2014 at 8:00 am so excited yay!!!!

On 10-23-14 NVC emailed me stating that they have received all of the documents needed. So we are waiting for the Casablanca Consulate to let us know when the interview date will be. Yay! Good news after so many months.

On 7-30-14, NVC emailed me stating that they needed my original marriage certificate or certified copy of one which we had already sent in with the prior documents. Since we already submitted the original, my husband had to go get certified copy of it with english translation. On 8-25-14, NVC emailed me stating that since they are receiving so many approved petitions from USCIS it will take 60 days to review my submitted docuemnts.

On 4-9 had an appt with lawyer's assistant, I paid the AOS fee and the Visa fee. Not sure when they submitted the paperwork to the national visa center. 5/21 NVC requesting resubmit a part of the paperwork. 5/30 mailed to lawyer office, 6/2 assistant received it. Don't know when they will resubmit the info. Waiting for National Visa Center to ask for more information or for the appt date.

So my lawyer's assistant called me on 3-31 letting me know that we are ready to start the processing fees for the national visa center. I have all of my documents ready to give to my lawyer so they can submit the fees and documents for AOS. Have my appt tomorrow. Yay finally moving along with the paperwork!

I received a notice that they approved our petition on Feb. 7 2014. Papers transferred to National Visa Center. Hopefully I will hear something within a month
Almost 9 months have passed and finally some news! -
So today is Dec. 16 2013 and the only thing i got in the mail today was a transfer notice meaning that my papers were transferred from the National Benefits Center to the Nebraska Service Center. After 7 months, still no decision of my petition being approved or denied

My Journey part 2 started on April 24th 2013 with the appointment with my lawyer. Alhamduillah we received our NOA, May 24th. Its been a month since I have started over. Now the 5 month wait begins for the decision of USCIS. In shaa Allah it will be better the 2nd time around!

So have been on this journey since 2009 and still NO LUCK! They wanted to revoke our petition, I sent a motion (Nov 2011) process 6-12 months, called at least 3 times, then came Nov 2012 and called yet again, then they sent the exact same paper only now its 12-18 months processing. SCREW THIS I'M STARTING OVER MY PAPERWORK! UGHHHH

Hicham went to the consulate & gave the documents and this stupid moroccan lady told him that one of the documents was a photocopy which was a lie so she threw it at him we are so confused becuz they took his passport and gave him a paper that everyone gets if they get a visa supposenly they will call idk if i should be happy or mad at the moment i dont know what is going to happen or what is going on ugh

I hope we can be together soon, i'm tired of all of these obstacles and i do want the journey to end. We just want to be together, so tired of suffering ugh

So I sent the Consulate what they were asking for the same day as the interview, so the docuements got there the 1st of October and they havent called us or emailed or anything, so i sent my husband the same docuements that saturday and he finally received them today, he is going to casablanca and going to go see what is going to happen now. Plus he printed out like 500 pages of our Instant Messages hopefully the consulate officer or whatever would be satisfied that we went through all of thi...

I think the consulate is dragging their feet. A Lot of miscommunication going on inside with cases, interviewers and whoever tells approvals to come pick up their visa it is ready. Maybe you will hear good news soon!! I can only imagine how you are feeling with the suspense and agony....Fingers are crossed for you both.

I dont even know if he is going to get his visa, Haven't talked to my husband yet, I know it wasn't a definite yes or no, I dont even know what happened or what is going on so frustrated and disappointed now. All I know is that they were asking for things that they didn't ask before.

well first they told him to have our I.M. conversations then they were like they need an AOS but i sent one in mths ago, but i guess they want a current one now since i just started a new job, i had to do the contract between sponser and household member so me and my mom cuz i cant support him yet since my job is parttime, so they wanted a letter from my employer and a AOS and a letter from me saying i cant support him blah blah blah but i sending them all of those and my timesheets and check...

Just a week til the interview, excited yet nervous, he travels on the 27th...hopefully it all goes well

My hubby went to get his medical exam today and he is going home now, just waiting for the interview on the 28th!

oh my god i am so happppy!!!! case was completed and the interview is going to be in september!!! Inshallah we will be together soon

Its been a yr married with my husband on the 15th of July it sucks not being able to spend our anniversary together
