reached safely..thx. POE was hell..cos of looong queues etc..very weird.. took me 3.25hrs!! maybe too many flights to ord cos ny was shut..

i think u can expect a mid Dec interview.. they schedule by 10-12th of the month for the next month's based on my observation. Mine was completed on aug 31st..on sept 10th i got pkt-4 email for interview on 18th.

medicals depend on your hospital.. suggest you call them up and speak to them.. atleast in chennai, VFS don't take medical report either. consulate lets you to take it with you for interview..

you can carry a copy of these docs to VFS..but unless it is someone who doesn't know about things who is sitting there, they wont ask you for these. But they do want to see your appointment letter..

Only thing i gave VFS is Rs.387/- they issued a receipt for that and put a sticker on the back of my passport. Consulate will ask for receipt and sticker..and you need the receipt to collect the courier when they send it too..

hey,.,wow..didyu get interview date? second batch of nov? and dont mind if its D, VFS dont bother - they knows abt this as they see it everyday and Consulate guys knows what is original (they r good professionals - no overdoing or underdoing) So this is abs no worries. this is based on my chennai exp.

sachinky, when you received the VISA sealed pack.. was its corner cut and stapled?

Just got the PP and the sealed envelope.. but the envelope has its corner cut and stapled.. (so that its contents can be identified as docs?).. Is this alright?!!
