K-1 approved!
-
His visa arrived today! 9 more days...
-
He's gone. 86 days until I see him again. =(
-
I think I'm going to sleep with my NoA2 tonight.
-
Interview date: Feb 7th!
-
Together at last. =)
-
Tom's interview in 48 hours. I am so nervous I am going to vomit.
-
The waiting is killing me.
-
Please, please let us get our NoA2 in the coming weeks. I really need this.
-
No, and interview is totally normal and not a bad thing. I just don't want to go through it! I'm terrified of getting grilled by my government about the color of my toothbrush and which side of the bed Tom sleeps on. =)

Congrats! We are still waiting for our biometrics to be approved. Did your I-485 get transferred to the CSC first? I heard if your case gets transferred there you might not get an interview and since our case is currently at CSC I'm hoping!
-
Paul welcome home!
I just found out that Tom did not receive the sealed envelope at the interview, did you get this? Did it come with the visa package?
-
Thank you so much and congrats on his point of entry!
I am so incredibly nervous...
-
That's fantastic! I am so happy for you!
Quick question, DS 230 (part 2) is UNSIGNED until he gets to the interview, right?
-
YAY! Awesome....getting closer to The Big Green! We're hoping to get our EAD in the coming weeks.

Hi! I just posted my fiance's review of his interview so have a look.
The only way to be prepared is to bring EVERYTHING. Even if you think it won't be needed. We were only asked for a fraction of what we prepared, but he did end up neeing 1 form from P3 to clear up confusion (as you'll read). It's best to be prepared. They seem to ask for random things.

We just called the number listed on the VJ UK embassy page after we received our LDN number from the NVC. They get you in RIGHT AWAY so you might want to give yourself a few weeks for the embassy to process you, but it's up to you. We had a snag with our medical so our results are delayed at the moment.
-
Well we had a slight snag with his medical, so it took us a bit longer to deal with that. They received our P3 on Dec 8th, and our interview was scheduled Jan 11th (for Feb. 7th). It's hard to tell if our delayed medical results affected it or if it takes them that long to process it, but it wasn't too bad.

Yeah, he said it pays to show up early. We were extremely ready with the paperwork. Let me know if you need to see our document checklist, I'll be happy to help!
