  1. Thanks ezzeswife! It looks like something will happen this week - RFE or Approval!

I pray for all CSC guys too for speedy approvals!

    Loto

Thanks Loto...It looks like you got all your ducks in a row so if it is a RFE I think you will do fine...Me too I pray that CSC moves faster...I am looking forward to another good week with lots of approvals...I may not post much but I do get those happy goose bumps when someone before me gets approved...Keep it going USCIS...

  2. shingyan, CONGRATULATIONS

This is SUPER GREAT NEWS FROM VERMONT SERVICE CENTER

I can see all my goose bumps, yes, I can't just believe it

You are making me sleepless now onwards

    Loto

I have goose bumps for you too Loto...This is very exciting for all of us here in July...Maybe just Maybe things will start moving faster for all of us inculding the rest of March, April, May, And June filers....

  3. I'm living here with my kid and my husband. The problem is that her father is real lazy with paying child support. While we were living in my home country this was not a problem because the authorities there collected it from him and then paid it tome. But now when I'm not a resident there any longer, I cannot any help from the authorities. Are there any authorities here in US who could possibly help me with this? My husband has too many expenses already so that money would help a lot, it's not much but to us it matters. To get an attorney to do anything would be too expensive, propably we would end up with paying more than we would be getting with the child support.

I am not sure if it would work but maybe you could contact the Support Enforcement in your area...Here in Washington State it is linked to the welfare or DSHS (Department of Social Health Services)...Maybe they can give you answers on how to work with the authorities in your home country...

  4. Tammy, you are good to go then. But note that 2010 poverty line guide is not yet published. Every year, they will increase the threshold, watch it out. If you have some other assets such as bank balance, home etc., it would be helpful.

    Loto

I hope by then we will be passed the part where income comes in but I doubt it...If I still need a joint sponser I will keep asking friends and family or keep crying on their shoulders until they give in :D ...

    Keep smiling

    Tammy

  5. Tammy,

Your son must be at least 18 years old to include his income as household member. You need to include your son also in the household.

You can show all other income in I-864, sum (part-time income, child support, just your SS disability income) it up for an year and enter in Part6, Item# 23.

    Loto

Thanks Loto that is what I thought...I still can do it without my sons income but it is like 1500 over the poverty level guide so I barely make it...

As far as expediting my case 'Not' LOL my mom got offended when I asked her...

    Have a good one...

    Tammy

  6. Hello all...I have read alot on the income requirements and at first I was thinking I would need a joint sponser...I am having a very hard time getting one so I am here to ask questions if I can just do it myself...

Ok this is my story...I was involved in a very bad car accident in July of 2001 that has permantly disabled me (but I don't let it slow me down) I won't go into details about my injuries but I am unable to work full-time so I get Social Security Disability but not SSI it is SSA classified as retirement benefits. I also recieve what I was told survivors benefits for my son (who is 11yrs old) which is in his name but I am the represenative payee and goes by his SS number but paid to me..for example it says (To Tammy ***** For My Sons name)...I also recieve child support from my sons father and I work part time(about 3hours a day) 9 months out of the year for a school...

I was told by the Social Security Office that I would not lose my benefits because I am married now..As long as I am disabled I will still recieve it...

But my questions is can I use what I get from SS from my son? and on the I-864 where do I put this info as income from SS and child support..Or do I have to attach an explanation...I have a very good paper trail that shows I have recieved this including child support...

    Thanks to all that reply

    Tammy

  7. I have searched but I guess I need direction to where I can find my answer...Just a little info on my situation..I am USC and I did have a joint/co-sponser in line to sponsor my husband but I have been having a hard time with her to get together and tell her what is needed so I asked another person but he wants details of what he will be responsible for...To my understanding I would be the main sponsor but my income doesn't meet the guides...

Is a co-sponsor and a joint sponsor the same?

And what is the co-sponsor/joint sponsor responsible for?

Please if you can give me a link or explain in detail what they would be responsible for would be much appreciated so I can print it out and explain to this person...

    Thank you all

  8. Hey ezze, how did you find out your case was touched at USCIS? I've been checking everyday since I got my NOA1 and the website still says my case is not online... Oh and I'm July filer also!!

If I was you I would call them and find out why it is not online yet because you have a recipt number and it should be there...But when you get online to check it will give you a date it was last updated and I have read it means your case was touched...

Welcome to the July filers!!! Good luck

  9. Welcome, another fast NOA1 person :-)

    Loto

Thanks Loto...I am debating now to try to expidite my case but I don't know if it will qualify...To make a long story short the 2nd week in April we found out my mom has cancer and at that time they gave her 10 months to live...She has been through 3 very tough chemo sessions and things are looking better but the cancer is still there...I just want my mom to be here to meet my husband...But the questio I keep asking my self do I want the added stress of gathering info from the Dr and what not LOL...Right now I have to keep a very positive attitude and think God does not give me more than I can handle...But anyways What do you think should I try?

And Loto get on the phone and call them it is too long for you not to even get someting from USCIS...

    Thnaks and good luck

  10. Am I understanding it wrong or you wrote it right.........you are worried because you might get RFE for ticking NATURALIZATION......but on the second post you said you are a USC by birth.......than you selected A RIGHT option......what's wrong here ?

On my G-325A I ticked Naturalization on my husbands it is ticked as Status of permanent resident...Did we do it correct? Or am I letting the mind monsters control me...LOL

  11. I also receive the NOA1 hardcopy in the mail today. I have the patience as long as I know what is going on. :D

Although it may be completed much earlier, me & my wife have both set a date of 1 year for the whole process. We have all the documents ready except a second original copy of the marriage certificate - which she will get later.

Although I have my W-2 & copy of my tax returns, I also requested (on July 24th) a copy of my tax transcript for 2008 & 2009 - I also received in the mail today.

That's good you are getting the next step going...I will be in the next few days getting my tax transcripts request sent off and putting a fire under my co-sponser LOL...I wish I had more time...Life and my mom being sick puts alot of stress on this whole journey...But Keep Smiling :)

  12. same here. I received the email & a text message telling me that the application have been routed for processing. I would say give it a week or so for them to cash the check.

Looks like we are one day away from getting our texts and checks cashed...Next is the hard copy in the mail...

Sent it on July 27th. I look forward to this long journey!! Woohoo!!!

Welcome to July CR-1 filers...I hope we can all help one another on this journey..
