He picks his visa up tomorrow and then we will book his flight...FINALLY...I do apologize if I am not on here much to give thanks and congrats to you all...Keep the faith you will be with your loved ones soon...

  2. Sorry I have not been on here doing the happy dance for others progress...Congrats to all for interview dates and CC it is getting closer to be with our loved ones...Friday the 25th of March was our 1 Year anniversary and I was hoping my husband would get his interview date but no luck then yesterday morning I recieved the email his interview will be May 2nd at 11:00am...I am very happy...

    Blessings to all

  3. Saylin, have you checked other timelines to see how long it will be for them to notify you for interview? And do you know if they would email or snail mail the interview letter? Now my patience are gone I want my husband to have his interview tomorrow LOL

Make sure you don't confuse cover sheet and cover letter.

-Cover sheet is taken from the payment portal and has a barcode on it

-Cover letter is written by the petitioner/beneficiary

oops my bad I didn't use the word cover letter

  4. Make sure you print off the cover sheet from the payment portal and put that as the first thing.

Also, make sure the beneficiary's full name and date of birth plus the case number is written on the back of the 2 photos. And the 2 photos have to be 2" x 2".

Ensure only part 1 is signed on the DS-230. Part 2 cannot be signed.

Also include photocopies of the birth certificate and marriage certificate.

Everthing Saylin said and I will add what I did also...I used the cover sheet template on the VJ guide and put in my info, I put that after the IV Cover sheet, I also used removable labels and put Petioners full name and date of birth, Beneficiary's full name and date of birth, and the NVC case number on every piece of paper I sent them (except the cover sheets LOL)...Wishing you a fast journey through NVC

  5. Hi to all...

Wow life has been real busy with my sick mom and I haven't been on here in a few days...

CONGRATS to all that are moving right along...Saylin and Timosha big CONGRATS woo-hoo soon an interview...

I think mine is almost finished I tried to login and I did get SIF but the AVR still says they are sending my package so I will have to wait all weekend then call Monday to find out if it is done (I hope so)

    Take care all

  6. WOOOOOW that's amazing news!!!! So happy for you. This is some hope for all of us waiting to get our case numbers!! good.gifkicking.gif

So was it the first time you talked to an operator at NVC or you talked to them before and they said no case number?

I have spoke to a person many times...I was told after I was approved to wait 15 business days then call back. I asked what if it was 20 days and I still have no case number and the nice lady told me to email them my approval notice(Ron posted the steps on what to do in here or another thread) I emailed them this past weekend and called last night and I got the case number...Keep the faith and call everyday...I have found that calling them when the first open (7:30 am est) or later in the evening (10:00pm est) are the best times...I have never waited more than 2 minutes to speak to someone...

  7. Thanks!!

My mother-in-law has stomach cancer, it's a terrible disease I would not wish upon my most hated enemy.

I will be calling a few times a day until they get it, I can be pretty persistent  and pi$$ off the right people. LOL

My mom has stomach, lung, and it is in her lymph nodes...We found this out 2 weeks after I came back from getting married in Tunisia...So not only the stress from this visa we almost lost my mom this summer BUT she is an amazing woman and is fighting all the way...The cancer is getting smaller...

Keep your persistentancy (is that a word LOL)

  8. WOWOW!!!!! I am very excited....I was getting ready to send 2 emails 1 to NVC and 1 to someone at TSC to see where my case was and I decided to call NVC and speak to a live person...I GOT MY CASE # FOR NVC.... LOL I was so excited I forgot to give them our email addresses...:dance::dance::dance: Add me to the spreadsheet Saylin...And again thanks for all you do for us...

Val and Gary, Jenny, and Skynaut keep calling and speak to a live person the robot did no good for me...

    Keep the faith

  9. We got the same email saying our case was sent to nvc on the 8th, but most of the people who were sent on the 8th got their nvc case numbers already and we haven't :( I hoped we would get it yesterday but nothing. So I'm not sure now if our case was really sent to nvc on the 8th? Hummm...

Those who were sent on the 8th, when did you get that email? We got it on the 9th saying our case was sent to nvc on the 8th. It has been 33 days already without nvc case number! :(

Here is another bump in the road of our journey...I was approved on the 1/10/11 and got the email it was sent to NVC on 2/03/11...I emailed NVC this past weekend and I hope to hear something soon...At this point I don't know what else to do...Does anyone have an opinion on what us that are still waiting for a case # at NVC can do? Did TSC really ship it?

  10. Nataliya was done at NVC expedited on February 9th TSC sent them fedex overnight to NVC with the process they had orginally setup Nataliya's Interview for March 3rd but i called the Kyiv Embassey and they gave me and interview date for February 23 as per the EXPEDITE Barbara, sent to Denice at TSC, So I was able to speed up becasue of a cancellation in Kyiv and got move earlier.

I talked to NVC once during the process and they told me it was the weather that caused them to stop work and processing along with the holidays late December.

SO any way maybe you all who got approved and its been more than 15 days try this

""If your petition was approved more than 15 days ago,

please email a scanned copy of your I-797 or I-171 Notice of Action

    - Approval Notice to NVCResearch@state.gov. Please type the receipt number in the subject line of your email and include one attachment case per email.

If you received the form I-797 or I-171 Notice of Action - Approval Notice indicating that your petition has been retained by USCIS, or another type of the Notice of Action that is not an Approval notice, please contact USCIS at 800-375-5283 or visit their web site at

    www.uscis.gov for additional information.

If your case was expedited your WTC expedite case number will be

processed. Inquiries contact our USCIS 800 number for further information.

    Sincerely,

    ARI

    National Visa Center

YEAH SOME APPROVAL WENT BACK TO CSC becasue TSC couldnt process them fast enought as CSC could

some approvals are still at TSC not being shipped back to CSC and have not been sent to NVC yet.

If your approval has not been 15 days yet ...ITS STILL SITTING AT TSC until than it will go to

NVC but not until next week Febraury 18th they told me orgianlly monday the 7th.

Also many approvals are still pending. ! ! ! ! :crying:

    Good LUCK Nataliya & Ron

Thanks again Ron...I wish I could be more proactive on this but with my job, my son, and the big one my mom having cancer it is very hard to get time for sleep and well just time in general...

I am emailing NVC now and I know they won't get on it until Monday but I have the rest of the weekend to look at the paperwork NVC needs to make sure I have got it all correct...

I was approved on the 10th of January and when I called the lady told me to wait 15 business days...I waited then on the 3rd of February I got an email saying it was shipped to NVC...I called the AVR everyday then spoke to a person on the 10th of February and still no case #...So now I will have them research it to find out where it is at....

    Wishing you the best...

  11. Have you seen Ron's recent post? I've googled the email address he mentions, seems legit. I suggest you do your own research before emailing your personal info.

    My link

When I spoke to an operator at NVC, what Ron said is what she had told me but when you call and speak to the operators ask them... to be on the safe side...

Cograts on all the recent approvals and even through this frusrating time for all of us I do have to laugh at all the funny posts it keeps me away from the dark side...And I feel that Carlton is going to get very exhausted from dancing so much...Keep the faith

  12. Thanks 1lovingyou2 for the info...I was told the same from a NVC operator but she told me to wait 15 BUSINESS days. So I waited then recieved on 2/03/2011 an email saying they shipped my file to NVC. I have been calling the AVR everyday and still no case #...When I email NVC with my approval notice should I also send a copy of the email that they sent about my case being shipped???

And 1lovingyou2 (or is it Ron) have you got your case number for NVC or did they send all the papers to the consulate??
