    Well, we did it. We are now married! As is my way, I waited til the last possible day, but our certified marriage certificate is in hand. Now I just need a job again to be able to sponsor him.

    Patricio and I are taking the flight back to the states Wednesday morning.... POE is Houston, TX. I´m going to miss you Ecuador!

    Today, I received NOA 2 in the mail. I called NVC and I was given my case number and was told the petition was sent to Santo Domingo today! It finally feels like this process is happening! :-)

      YAY!! congrats! I´m so happy to hear things are moving for you! It´ll be quick now, Patricio is coming back to CA with me on Wednesday, apenas dos meses despues de NOA2. Now we don´t have to be apart anymore.

    guys, my fiance made a new letter of intent dated dec 13. i dont have an interview date yet and my case just left NVC the other day. im looking forward to the end of dec until the 2nd week of january for interview sched. so, should he change the date to lets say dec 27 or 29 to make it closer to the "possible" interview date? thanks ( he is about to send me the fiancial docs tomorrow via FedEx)

      I think a couple of weeks is fine, they know there is some time between NOA2 and the interview date. Plus, the first letter of intent was over 5 months ago so a few weeks shouldn't matter...

    wow...k1 visa july filers starting to get approve? how about IR1/CR1..come on uscis..

      I think about 30 k1 july filers have already been approved... still almost 90 to go though..

      If you go to Immigration Timelines in the top menu bar you can select Igor's list and see all of the current approvals for your visa. :-)

    My number still isn't in their system. I called a few times, but because less than 5 months has passed, they don't give me anything. Visajourney estimate timeline puts our approval this month... Please let it be accurate!

      we haven't had the I-129f approved yet so we don't know... still just waiting. Guayaquil has one of the worst reputations though, so any positive interview story (even in another country) is reassuring! :-)
