Sorry it has taken so long for me to write this up-my work computer has decided that visajourney is a malicious website and won't allow me to access it anymore lol. So Monday morning was our interview, traffic was worse than anticipated so we got there at 8am for an 8:15 appt; we were on time but I'm paranoid about time so I always try to be someone at least 30 minutes early. So walking in we were greeted by security, and they were so nice. They could see I was nervous and told me to just relax and smile. We went to the desk and turned in our paper and were told to wait until an officer called us. We sat down a couple minutes and were called back by a gentleman (I've already forgotten his name). He took us to an office and had us swear in and then pulled out our file. One side had all our papers we had sent in and the other side was a checklist, it looked to be fully complete. I had sent in a lot of proof, but brought in more pictures from our family vacation, medical documents, joint accounts that we opened once he got his ss number etc. He started by asking my husband basic questions, name, address, etc to compare it to the applications; then he asked me the same questions regarding the I-130 and my previous marriages just verifying everything. He got to the I-485 and asked my husband all the questions on there about espionage, terrorism, and I tried not to giggle because it sounded so silly to ask someone these questions; I was really tempted to ask if anyone ever answered yes. After getting through the formalities, he then asked us personal questions. How did we meet, when was our first date, where did we go, how long until we married, did he do anything formal when he asked me to marry him, what do we have in common, have we met each others families, then asked us what the others parents names were (my husband couldn't remember my dads name even though he was just at our house that morning, he was nervous). Then he asked if I brought more proof and I gave him the documents and pictures. He looked through all the pictures and saw us together with my kids and smiled. He was really personable and easy to talk to even though I felt so nervous. He told us that he would make his decision and we should hear something in a couple weeks, but if its been a month to check back in; I think he saw our faces drop (the KC office never seems to give immediate approvals so I expected this but still was hopeful) so he repeated it again and slipped in a "if you are approved...and I think that will be the case...you will get a 2 year conditional greencard because you haven't been married for 2 years" and I felt better. The entire interview was maybe 15 minutes or more, it felt like forever when he was asking us questions! So we left and about two hours later we got the text message that our status was updated and when I checked it said card production! Yesterday I got the update that they mailed his card. I'm so happy to have this over with, if anyone has questions feel free to ask.

Will happily remove my post....but to throw this out there....adding a tag does nothing-change the title as it clearly states JUNE AOS FILERS; not JUNE AOS FILERS FROM K1 ONLY.
