can anyone please tell me how many days will it take for the VISA to arrive from the day of interview (with God's help) if things will happen as i expected and as i prayed for... for 5 years.

clav we mailed AOS first followed by my ds230 but since our aos aint reach NVC, ds230 was reviewed first. ds230 was in the system by july 19 and was reviewed july 20...i got checklist letter for my NBI and AOS july 22...mailed checklist response and entered in the system by aug9 and 10. we mailed it separately,we just print separate barcoded sheet. How about ur case how was it going?

i know huh maui23?... but para kasing pinag lalaruan ako ng panahon... i didnt expect this to be like this... kong ok lang sana, may interview na sana ako ngayon... who knows kong kailan to matatapos... our family here at VJ kept on telling me that i will be spending my christmas with my family.... and i hang on to that.... i just dont have the energy to mail my RFE now since i know we still have to wait for my stepson's passport which will take forever and a half...

Hi Mitch, This might help. I didn't send a new passport for my kids, when i sent them my RFE. I wrote a letter saying that due to the new processing of getting a passport on our country they won't be able to release it until 2nd week of JUly. Might want to try it. And my case was completed on July 14, 2010. Goodluck. And will keep on praying for you.

HI VJ FAM! YESTERDAY WAS OUR VISA INTERVIEW AND EVERYTHING WENT WELL AND GOT APPROVED!!!

I WANT TO SHARE OUR EXPERIENCE VERY BRIEFLY COZ EVERYTHING WENT BY SOOOOOO FAST =) NO HASSLES!!!

WE ARRIVED AT THE USEM AS AROUND 6 AM SINCE OUR SCHEDULE IS 7 AM AND BY THE TIME THAT WE ARRIVED WE WE'RE ASKED TO GO INSIDE AND SCANNED OUR THINGS. I AM WITH MY DAUGHTER AND MOTHER SINCE I HAVE A 3 YR.OLD BABY AND PREGNANT MY MAMA WAS ALLOWED TO GO INSIDE AS WELL.

AT 6:15, WE WE'RE ASKED TO FALL IN LINE TO A BOOTH AND HAVE OUR DS230 PREPARED, 3 2X2 PHOTOS AND APPOINTMENT LETTER AND AFTER THAT THEY GAVE US A NUMBER AND THEY LET US SIT BY THIS TIME.

AND AT 6:40, THEY CALLED OUR NO. FOR THE FINGER SCANNING. NO FINGER SCANNING FOR CHILDREN.

AND EXACTLY 7 AM, MY NO.WAS CALLED AT WINDOW 24, A VERY NICE FILIPINA LADY WAS SEATED AND STARTED THE QUESTIONING.

- WHAT IS YOUR FULL NAME?

- WHEN IS YOUR BDAY?

- WHAT IS YOUR DAUGHTER'S NAME?

- BIRTHDATE

- PETITIONER'S NAME

- BIRTHDATE

- HOW,WHEN AND WHERE DID YOU AND YOUR HUSBAND MEET?

- WHAT YEAR DID YOU GET MARRIED?

- AND THEN SHE ASKED FOR PICS,REMMITTANCES AND EMAIL/LETTERS.

AND AFTER THAT, SHE SAID THAT WE HAVE TO SIT DOWN AGAIN AND WAIT FOR OUR NO. TO BE CALLED FOR THE FINAL INTERVIEW.

AT 8 AM, WINDOWS FROM THE CO ROOMS ARE NOW OPEN. AND 5 MINS LATER WE WERE CALLED AT ROOM 37(IM GUESSING ON THIS) NAKALIMUTAN KO NA UNG ROOM NO.

WE ENTERED THE ROOM AND AN AMERICAN, TALL, WHITE AND BALD GUY GREETED US GOODMORNING =)

HE ASKED FOR MY NAME,BDATE,DAUGHTER'S NAME,BDATE,PETITIONER'S NAME AND BDATE. AFTER ANSWERING, HE MADE US RAISE OUR RIGHT HAND INCLUDING MY MOM AND MADE US SWEAR THAT ALL THAT WAS WRITTEN IN DS230 WE'RE ALL TRUE AND MADE ME SIGN THE 2ND PART.

AND HE JUST ASKED WHATS THE WORK OF MY HUSBAND AND WHEN IS THE LAST TIME THAT HE VISITED US. AND ASKED HOW WAS OUR ROADTRIP FROM TARLAC. HE ALSO ASKED ME ON WHERE DO I WANT TO GIVE BIRTH AND I SAID THAT I WOULD LIKE TO DELIVER MY BABY HERE IN THE PHILIPPINES AND HE SAID THAT VISAS HAVE TIME VALIDITY AND I SAID AS SOON AS WE GET THE PASSPORT FOR MY NEWBORN WE WILL FLY TO THE US. AND HE SAID OK, I DONT SEE ANY PROBLEM WHY I CANT APPROVE YOUR VISA. SO CONGRATULATIONS YOUR VISA IS APPROVED AND WELCOME TO THE USA. HAVE A SAFE DELIVERY! AND WE SAID THANK YOU! HE ASKED US TO SIT AND WAIT FOR OUR NAMES TO BE CALLED FOR THE FINAL INSTRUCTIONS.

NOW WE HAVE TO WAIT FOR ABOUT AN HOUR, AND FINALLY WE WERE CALLED AT WINDOW Y AND GAVE ME THE PINK SLIP AND FILLED UP THE DELIVERY FORM FOR AIR21 AND PAID 270 EACH FOR ME AND MY DAUGHTER. AND FINALLY WERE DONE

WE WERE OUT OF THE EMBASSY AT EXACTLY 9:45.

AND TO ALL WHO ARE GOING TO HAVE YOUR INTERVIEW, DONT GET SO STRESSED COZ ITS LIKE A PREPARATORY EXAM. NO SWEAT AT ALL =)

Hi Raymon! The interview went very well. Just a tip for those who are going to be interviewed, bring all your documents, even if you already submitted it at the NVC. I won't post my interview experience, 'cause it is so similar to the ones that were already posted here. Tell your spouse to just relax and enjoy the experience Good luck on your journey too! By the way, I was approved!

ate missy i called them and the whole AOS package and my NBI are the ones missing...i dont really know why. pero kaya to, nagiisip nga ako possible ways,im taking things positively, i made this far...thank u so much for always being there offering a hand! u were so kind to me.

I think they do require original copy for your affidavit of support just write them a note of what your situation is and tell them that if they really need the original you can send it as soon as your husband get back from his work. Im sure they'll understand. Im happy that i can help you with your situation. Goodluck.

ok..here's my problem...we received an email today regarding an RFE from NVC stating to submit my DS230..the thing is i already sent those docs 3 days ago...my worry is i should attach the checklist..but how?my forms was already in NVC yesterday.

If you already sent the documents just disregard the email that you received today. They sent it while your papers is still on the mail. Call them back next week to verify if they receive your papers.

i received a checklist listing my AOS and NBI is missing....where are my AOS docs??? i have to send them once again... but how will i? too bad my hubby is at work his at the middle of the sea at this moment and will be back by the end of october... causing to much delay...

Maui23, try to call NVC and ask them what's really missing. And ask your husband if he can send you a copy of all the documents that was sent to NVC. Just hang in there, i'll keep praying for you.

Hello to all VJ family, today my husband received their visas from USEM 3days after the interview... :dance: We are so glad we got it... THANK YOU LORD JESUS CHRIST...

And to all here... Hopefully ur cases will be next in line for the interview.. God Bless us always.. It was a long journey for us but all is well now... and Thanking God coz the process got shorter and faster than I expected.. Ive never really expected this.. all I know was, I must be a US citizen before I can have them here.. but nope God is so good.. I was wrong then.. so to all LPR's here... Goodluck to us and may God continue to bless us all... we wil keep praying...

Let me tell you this, 2 years ago I went online and registered for infopass to get to the USCIS office to inquire on my case status for my family, and in the office spoke to a kind lady.. telling me there is nothing I can do but to wait till they will approve my case.. and it made me cry in front of her... but those were one of my memories on this journey.. I can only smile at it now.. at last our reunion with my family is sooner..

So cheers to all of us here.. we will be reunited sooner than expected with our family... God bless us all..

called lately and AVR says they got my ds230 july19 and they are waiting for my AOS which is confusing because AOS was sent earlier...im trying to reach out an operator now but lines were busy

When you mail your AOS, did you have tracking number? If you do you can verify if they receive or not. Try to call them again to see if they received or not because that is really strange. Goodluck.

I just want to clarify, nvc is really requesting the tax transcript from IRS right? coz i just sent a copy of the tax that i filled which i got from my preparer... or should i have to really send them a doc from IRS. im totally lost.

i got this RFE a week ago and didnt gave any time to settle it for it will just stressed me out.. i just want to breathe and grasp things first... i have to take it slow.

Hi Mitch, Copy of your last year income tax return that you sent IRS is fine. You don't have to get a transcript from the IRS. Relax you'll be fine. And soon you will be reunited with your family. God Bless.

Just call them and talk to the operator. Maybe they're still on the process of reveiwing everything. And they will send you a letter if ever your missing any documents. Don't worry too much. Keep on praying. God Bless!!

That's true, Raymon. The wait time is too short for F2A visa nowadays. But its ok at least we don't have to wait 4 years for our case to be almost finish. Our journey will be over soon.

Everything happens so fast. I was expecting 4-5 yrs before it get process but we get blessed. This August will be my 3rd year waiting.

So weeks of waiting is not that bad at all. Now you will be able to spend your daughter's bday with her.

its included on the medical fee..so no additional payment for the vaccines..it took them 3 days coz i have kid that had the TB test and will be read after 2 days..for adult, its ok if u dont have immunization record..its most important for the children..

Yes... we are so grateful to HIM.. nothing is impossible.. You will sure have my prayers too.. Wish you all the best

another is what should i write on the back of my visa photos?should i put both my name and MNL no?should i paste on ds230 form?or can i put it in a small envelope?i hope somebody can help me since most of you are on interview stage now..and you knew this very well

You don't have to send his birthcertificate just your marriage contract and your birthcertificate. And for the photo, you can staple it on the top left hand side of the DS230. (both of the picture together) And its really up to you what kind of envelope you want to use, i used the white letter size. And dont forget to write your name and case number on the back of the pic and on the top right hand side of all the papers your sumbitting to NVC. Goodluck.

My husband and daughter is done with the medical just yesterday.. Thanks God it went well.. so here we are anxiously waiting for the big day on monday..hopefully, it will be a great day for us.. am gonna pray that they will be approve..

And if its only ur husband, its better if he will show up at noon time...they accepted my family at almost 2pm...so they never have to go as early as 430 am just to line for the priority number..

Bring the following: appoinment letter, passport with copy, pic(2x2) 4pcs to be sure, if u have a child the immunization record..and the payment,,Goodluck..and GOD bless.. pls help me pray for my family interview on Monday.. thanks

Congratulations too Missy.. if u will be for USEM Manila, u can just go to the St Lukes Extension Clinic maybe 2 to 3 days prior sa Interview date or u may want to do it earlier..

Thanks Chakadoll. yes their interview will be at USEM Manila. So just show up with the appointment letter at St. Lukes anytime before the interview?
