My husband contacted his congressman & heard today that our file will be processed in 45 days and go to NVC in about 2 months.

That is SO good. I will definitely read your post as the time draws near. As you may know, we haven't been approved at TSC. They tell us it may be May before it happens (Nov 24th+180 days). With +/- 6-7 months at NVC & Montreal, I will be lucky to get my visa & join my husband in December. It is very sad. I choose to stay sane by focusing on my life right now.

Still trying to stay positive - there isn't anything to support that (like a NOA2 or anything concrete) except that it's better than the alternative. I cannot believe how unfairly our files have been managed. I just hope that it turns around soon and that we all soon have a reason to believe in some kind of goodness in this world.

Thank you, Patience. The sooner the better. Every day I need to try hard to be patient and keep my spirits high - it pays to maintain perspective when you realise that there are about 5 or 6 months (1 month at NVC + 5 months at Montreal consulate) to go before I can be with my honey.
