    I agree! It is much easier to be patient now that he is here! Have fun at the biometrics - we drove 4.5 hours to get there at 8am and he was back in the truck at 8:13!

    No, it wasn't a scam. It started Monday. He was on hold forever but finally got through. Sent him a receipt with a barcode and everything. The phone number was the same number listed on the embassy website. TOMORROW!!! WOO HOO

    Steve called today to do the new pay before you interview thing. Was on hold over an hour. Over a hundred quid for holding. Unbeliveable. Sorry baby :(

    Steve called the Consulate today. They received all the paperwork and logged it in on the 18th. No interview date yet, but at least they have everything! One step closer :)

      it took us about 20 days to get the interview date after sending the papework, just thought I would pass that on to you. Good luck!

      Thanks! You know, it helps to have all the info and encouragement you can get :) He called the embassy today and they told him the interview date. Whew!

    Steve's medical is today... still waiting for an interview date. Sometimes, it feels like it is going by so quickly but mostly it feels like it's taking forever!!!
