So my wife goes to the interview at the embassy. State department computers down, so they recorded the interview. They told my wife they wanted to approve but we will have to wait since their system was down.

When did you marry? Right now she should still be under the 2 years conditional residency. If the marriage doesn't last 2 years then her conditional residency is void, no?

She has to leave the country if you divorce her. Anyway that is how I thought it worked.

How long after paying the IV is the DS-260 available online to fill out?

Got the IV invoice June 7, still nothing.

I don't buy the website having issues, it's total BS.

The same website works perfectly fine to pay the AOS and fill out the DS-261.

The hangup is in processing and activating the IV and DS-260 for each case and nothing more.

Not yet, but that is what I am expecting.

From what I am reading, mailing in the IV payment is a waste of time and money, they will cash the check and then nothing on the website is ever updated.

My wife tried to get a tourist visa to come and visit me. They denied her the visa because she mentioned we were doing the CR-1.

They approved her mom who went to the interview at the same time then my wife cried.

Man I paid the AOS the 21st of April.

I still can't pay the IV fee on the website. I click under IV Fee Pay Now, still shows $0.

Over 2 months just waiting to pay IV...

So basically if you mail in the payment for AOS or IV you have to wait 2 months or more to be able to fill out the DS-260?

This entire process is completely broken.

I have no issues with the website. I was able to login, fill out the DS-261 and pay the AOS fee, no problem.

Not sure why it has to be so difficult for the IV Fee and DS-260. It should only take a few days and it is turning out be months, ridiculous.

I talked to them last week, they said the website was supposed to be fixed by the 13th.

They processed our DS-261 over a month ago, still waiting for the IV bill. This said I send me an email with the IV invoice last week, nothing.

Same, payed AOS April 22. Still nothing to pay the IV fee in the portal. 4 weeks!

I called 30x then was on hold for 50, finally got through.

50x lol!

It's like living in a 3rd world country.

What is the deal, every time I call I get the message "Because of the large volume of calls we are recieving all our our customer server representatives are busy helping other customers."

It doesn't even allow one wait on the line for the next available representative.

It's impossible to get through to anyone.

Trying to get our case number because it has been over 1 month.

Got the NOA1 Sept 24. Still waiting for the NOA2 over 5 months now. This sucks!

So exactly when do I file the I-864 for a CR-1?

I thought that went with the I-130 petition but the I-864 is not in the guide or the checklist or the USCIS website instructions.

Do I have to file that after the NOA2 or before the interview or what?

I have a question hopefully somebody here knows the answer. My fiancee arrived on a K-1 visa and we got married. Then shortly after due to family emergency she had to leave before we could do the AOS and she left the country. So now I am trying to bring her back with a CR-1 visa. Now the question is, do I use her Alien number from the K-1 procedure?
