are you going to call DOS eventually to see if P3 was logged??

I checked again today.... March 1st now..... ahhhhh.... i just read in the Canada forum about someone getting their P4 at lightning speed lately, like a WEEK after sending back P3.... so hopefully that'll happen to us too!

has your fiancee sent Packet 3 yet?? let me know when she does I sent mine on Thursday, so we may end up interviewing around the same time! It would be nice to see fellow VJ'ers at the consulate!

have you looked on the scheduling website lately, the one where we had to choose our DHL location??

I checked it yesterday and the earliest appointment was like feb 22nd or something.... uggghhh... I have a feeling we won't be interviewing until March or April. Hopefully sooner though.

sent packet 3 back yesterday. Now we wait for Montreal.

well, I hope you live closer to one of the DHL locations than I do, which is 2 hours away. Bc they give only specific ones to use, which is so inconvenient. And they aren't open on weekends. I'm thinking about sending it via Canada Post xpress parcel and not using DHL, bc I can't get there to send it via DHL... it's ridiculous

... sorry, was going to cut off. While you were waiting for P4, they sent you that new fangled thing to schedule it online instead? Or, did you just get the new P3? Ugh. Im just so confused with this new process, as I was prepared for the old one. Any insight would be great!!

Hey, question about scheduling interviews in Montreal... you were part of the pilot group in September, and now I'm part of the pilot group getting these new P3's, with the instructions to schedule our interview, WHEN instructed to by email.... you got the regular "old" P3, correct? Then while you were waiting for P4...

but I'm sending it via Canada Post bc I cant take a day away from teaching JUST to drive to London to send this thing via DHL when Canada Post would work just fine. but I'll have to drive to London to pick it up..... fyi, I dont have a car, so I'd have to find some way there. UGH!!!

hahah good luck to send P3 as soon as it gets there... it's effed. It's not the same P3 as it used to be. You'll see what I mean when you get it. It's all these websites and DHL stuff and whatever... it's really frustrating and I spent a long time tonight combing over every page. I'm 2 hours away from a DHL location they make you choose from, and they apparently want...

I know, that was my understanding,too.... but alas, he has P3 in hand, and I'm still waiting for it, lol.... soo, he is going to scan it all and email it to me to print out. I guess it's not a big deal, so long as I actually have a copy of it... it's just very odd. I'll be curious to see if P3 still shows up here too!

I remember you saying a while back you're a teacher, too.... do you have to write any tests or anything to get licensed in the US?? I think I just have to write the CBEST exam in california....

haha in Nova Scotia, Public Health keeps all the immunization records, so I just went there in the summer & got them all before moving to Ontario... except for chicken pox, which I had when I was a baby, so I'm good to go on that...

That's strange.... they must have been, since ours arrived at NVC the same time. She could be wrong. And, the girl I talked to could be wrong, too. She just said, "your information package was sent as of 11/01"

I called DOS!! Packet 3 was sent on November 1st!!!

hey, I think my fiance received it on Saturday... it was sent to NVC around the 25th, I think... so now we are just waiting for packet 3 from montreal!

haha so I think NVC is literally ALWAYS busy! I gave up trying to call. I'll just wait a reasonable time for P3. Do you know how long it takes between Mtl getting the casefile & P3 being sent out?!

Have you tried calling NVC yet?? we just found out we were approved last night when my fiance got home late & checked the mail!! its been 6 days since the notice date, so it may be there already!!
