  1. If only 1 letter is missing, I would not go over troubles to get another green card. It is just my opinion. Use the paper they sent along with green card to ask for another correct green card (that page has file #, will help to expedite process). My name is perfect written on GC. I will apply for American citizenship in April of next year, see u for another journey?

yes definitely see you for the citizenship process. You're right. But just to make sure I'll call to see if everything is okay in their records! :star:

  2. Hello everyone,

Just wondering if anyone had the same situation wherein your first name is too long and it didn't fit in your GC?

I tried calling on the first time they issue me my conditional GC. They did put all my first names but with No spaces.

Now they put a space and I'm missing one letter.

Do you think I have to call or do anything or just let it be.

  3. Just received a text message right now!!

On November 21, 2012, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you. If you move before you receive the card, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

Thank you Lord!I was just posting this morning hoping it would be today! Then I received a text! (Prayers do great things)

Please update my status! Thank you!

  4. Guys,

I already hit the 6 month mark, and no approval, at what point do we contact the USCIS if we haven't had any news? 7, 8, 10 months? A year?

Your input is highly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

    Kata

I already contacted them twice. They told me USCIS is still processing applications dated April 18. Not sure if it is accurate. And from what I interpret is that they can't create a service request yet since mine is on a later date.

  5. Even though USCIS tells you (incorrectly) that they are processing April 18 applications, that is the date they go by when judging service requests. Hence, if your receipt date is after April 18, they will NOT put in a service request for you (trust me, I know from experience). My receipt date is April 17, and I was (finally) able to initiate a service request over the phone. It has been 10 days since my service request, but I haven't heard anything yet. They told me that if I don't hear anything within 15 days of the service request, I can call them back.

I see. thanks for the info. I really hope they will speed up the processing so we wouldn't be too anxious Waiting!

  6. Hi, just an FYI that someone got approved for 10 years GC yesterday from May 2012 Filers. I hope the processing time USCIS communicating is not accurate (they told me last week they are processing April 18th applications). I hope i will get my GC soon also as the one who got it from May filers sent his application one day later then my application:) Wish you all best of luck....Regards S. Umer

Yes it is really not accurate. Did they put a service request for you? or not yet?

  7. Hi Everyone,

I am new to this forum and currently I am waiting for the approval of removing conditions.

Just want to share some updates I have for CSC processing time. Yesterday I called USCIS and found out that right now the CSC is processing April 18,2012 applications. So if any of your case passed that day but still don't have any updates, you can definitely call them so that they can file a ticket for you.

thanks for the info! When did you submit your I 751? You can add yourself in the April timeline :)

  8. There's a World Series on? I could google but I'll just ask... world series of what? (I seriously don't watch sport... at all).

No surprise mail for me :( Still hoping though! It's a tad irritating I know, to wait so long when some of us filed so much sooner than a lot of people that have approvals already... BUT it's important to remember its the LPR since date that matters, and all this waiting doesn't really affect much at all, and people being approved "before" us doesn't mean anything either. The N-400 date is based on the LPR since date (and marriage date) and because I filed my GC about 6 months after marriage I'll be able to file N-400 the day the window opens :) Whether we will depends on finances of course :)

Yes. World Series is the annual championship of Major League Baseball. Haha! I seriously just learn how to watch baseball like 2 years ago since my husband grew up playing the sport.

And I know it's a bit stressful for us who are still to be approve but I always feel hopeful we will soon receive good news.

Is the N-400 filing date based on the approval of your temporary green card? Because I have no idea yet about when I'll be able to file.

  9. Yes it did.

I received text/email as well as case changed at the site - Card production was ordered.

Text/email as well as case changed at the site - Card was sent.

Text/email as well as case changed at the site - The USPS reported that your new card was delivered directly to the address we had on file.

Hey guys, I'm just wondering how do you put your email adress or number for updates being sent to you?

    Thanks!
