Happy Wednesday All!

Today is my day I work at Applebees, and unfortunately i am not permitted to work a full day anymore...per the doctor.(I have placenta previa)..so i will only work 12-4, thats a hundred dollar loss for me...Booo! But for me the only important thing right now is making sure the baby is ok....Time is flying? anyone else notice that? I cannot belive im rounding my second trimester, seems like yesterday i just found out i was pregnant....Soon enough it will be thanksgiving....I cant wait...Xmas shopping and decorating....

Sofyan is loving me being pregnant, Its so cute...Although i assured him he wont feel the baby move for a couple weeks he insists on laying his head on my tummy every night....He keeps calling the baby "him or he" and i correct him with a " her or she" and he gives me this stern look....right now, im just praying for a strong healthy baby, and after these 2 roadbumps weve had with the pregnancy so far( i also found out im a cystic fibrosis carrier, sofyans tests were negative though) ....for once i wanna leave the doctors office with good news....inshallah....

well enough preggo talk....Happy Hump Day everyone...

Thought I would join the club and say im pregnant, for those who didnt know....Just rounding 13 weeks....Its great to hear everyones stories....My pregnancy this far hasnt been bad....I did find out im a cycstic fibrosis carrier, which was quite the scare, but because hubby was negative we have nothing to worry about..

I got my first ultrasound last week, internally, and the pictures turned out great, wish i had a scanner to post them...I did find out i have placenta previa, so needless to say i have to take it easy til i get my next ultrasound in december....

good luck to everyone expecting, i know everyone is just as excited as i am

well there wasnt an option for, we didnt have AP....but me and my husband spent one month together...than three months later, i went to live in jordan, and was there for nine months straight until he could come home with me...we got the visa the day after his interview...flew out 2 days later

jac...that is absolutely beautiful....definitly want one of those in my kitchen in the future...

what a great sunday....i worked from 7-2pm....got home and watched the Best Bears game ever....Go Griese!!! then carved pumpkins with my husband ...

my first ultrasound is in t-minus 4 hours....lets hope only one heartbeat is heard....since im a fraternal twin, ive been told, im more likely to have fraternal twins....and ive just been getting all these signs of twins lately...who knows maybe im freaking myself out...not that twins wouldnt be a wonderful blessing, but needless to say, one would be just perfect....

sara...good luck...let us know what happens with the doctor...

I was wondering that too! Isnt that many ultrasounds considered not good ? I get my first one tomorrow....im just hitting 12 weeks....and that is to only determine how far along i am.....

doc told me not to get a flu shot...he said its not recommended cause im preggo!

sick as a dog with the flu....called off work...

LOL to the topic....I think im the only one who works every sunday from 12-8....Jac, hope u had a great time in texas....have a safe trip back...

On another note....I get my first ultrasound this week!!!!!!! Im ooooh soo excited...maybe once i see the baby and hear the heartbeat, ill start feeling pregnant...I havent had a lick of morning sickness..or cramping...I guess i shouldnt be complaining though....

Happy sunday all...gonna lay down and watch some tv....gotta be up bright and early for work....

yasmine....I cant WAIT til i can feel my baby moving....i feel like a butterfly feeling occasionally which im told is movement...but i definitly cant wait.....10 days til my first ultrasound....Were sooo excited....

I have to go to work at 2pm....I hate working til 8pm on sundays.....the bank is dead all day because customers dont even think were open....ahhh the perks of working for a bank thats open 8-8 364 days a year......

amera...sorry to hear about your morning....sometimes men take for granted how hard it is being the one who takes care of the kids all day....talk to youssef about it. im sure he will understand...

on another note...Bears play the Packers tonight.....Are we expecting the bears to win??? No....but im staying optimistic.....

for girls we like amara, damani, yasmine, and Leena, were almost positive on Leena if its a girl....and i mean girls names are easy to pick out....the thing is we want a name that will fit both cultures...something that my family will at least be able to say....I do like Amir too....but geez, im pretty fluent in arabic and i cant barely pronounce the "a" in that name....plus i work with a kid name Amir, and he has made it very clear that he hates the way i say his name...lol...

for boys, we like Laith, and Zane....Sofyan is pretty set on Zane...I was just looking for more options...

sara, im jealous....your almost there....your baby could come any day now....Do u have names picked out?

amera....,glad to see you all are doing well, i cant believe your baby is already 9 months old!!

sofyan and i are good....i now work at a frankfort bank, as a manager, and am still doing my one day a week at applebees....sofyan finally got a good paying job with benefits, and a nice steady paycheck...No more commision and no more tips....

other than that same ol' same ol' ....in a few weeks im getting my first ultrasound....i cant wait, especially because people keep asking me my due date...and its soooo uncertain....this way the doctor can be more accurate once he measures the babys skull and everything....

me and sofyan need help picking out boys names....any suggestions? the girls are easy....

were cooking on the grill tonight....which i personally dont have an appetite for, so it may just be a bowl of ramen today!!

draggin this morning trying to get ready for the bank....yesterday i worked my part time job at applebees, so needless to say after 8 hours of walking back and forth from table to table...IM EXHAUSTED! this week im transferring to a different branch, where i will be a member of management....I cant wait...its a huge pay increase from a bank teller.....

as warm and rainy as it was here yesterday in chicago....its quite chilly this morning....i guess im in complete denial that winter is coming.....oh well right.....winter means thanksgiving, my birthday, and christmas.....My 3 favorite days!! lol....

Dip Stick..my orange experience...

dip sticks....i thought the same thing when i heard my sister in law picked orange for our bridesmaids dresses, but in all honesty, we were able to pull it off, and it made the pictures outside turn out super beautiful, so it may not be as bad as u think..

Jacque...I work 7 days a week, wish i had time to come see ya girl! maybe one day when i get off early, i can pop in...hugs to you....keep your head up girl!

mansaf sounds DELICIOUS right now...boo too all u mansaf haters...u dont know what ur missing....i wish i had the energy to cook mansaf....i really havent had energy for much of anything lately....hopefully when i hit my second trimetster this fatigue starts to fade!
