Jenna and Erik met last September in Missoula, MT. Erik thought Jenna was cute and playfully flirted by stealing her pink hat for the night. Jenna vowed to herself that she wouldn't date a foreigner, and Erik vowed he wouldn't get involved in a relationship while on exchange. Now they are making vows to each other.
Despite not wanting to date each other, they fell in love. Before Jenna knew it, she was packing her bags for a year exchange in Norway. Though exchange is never easy and the emotional pulls of the trip are great, they promised each other honesty and love.
Erik proposed to Jenna on the night of December 5th (morning of December 6th), out side of their hostel in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. They celebrated their engagement with visits to museums and the visit to the Heineken Experience.
