Funny thing today mom when to interview they say they don't revive the case yet I don't get this I mad right now. ?????

My cousin and his wife got a divorce, before the divorce his wife had file a petition for my cousin's son ( not related to his wife) since his wife said that she would withdraw the petition my cousin went ahead and file another petition on behalf of his son. Now his son received a date for the interview from his first petition and doesnt know what to do whether to go or not. He is no longer in communication with his ex. Any suggestion?

Since this is a new center I am not able to check my case status online. Are any of you able to see it at some point?

Filed for my parents also. Sent in application yesterday.

Received e notice on wednesday 9/3 that my oath appt notice has been sent!

Based on the many many posts on VJ around this Q, this appears to be how initial approval is provided on the day of the interview. I think the IO's supervisor needs to sign off but at this point, it is probably just a formality. Congratulations to your husband. Still waiting for my interview letter

I just got back from my interview and it went well. It was pretty simple and quick. I was recommended for approval. OI said I should expect oath ceremony date in the mail. I wonder how long it will take before I get in?

Hubby had his interview yesterday. Overall interview went well he passed his exam but was given a test result page that states the following: Congratulations! Your application has been recommended for approval. At this time it appears that you have established your eligibility for naturalization. If final approval is granted, you will be notified when and where to report for the oath ceremony.

Has anyone heard of results given this way?

My friend is petitioning/adjusting status for his wife and her 2 children who are all here in the U.S. I understand that he only files an I 130 for all of them, is this also true for the I 485? Does he send payment for 1 person or for 3? Your reply will be greatly appreciated. Thanks
