    I can't have my interview until after September 15th not because of the embassy but for personal choice. Our wedding is January 8th so that's the date we believe had laid in our hearts and we must be patient and wait. No reason to hurry things up when God is in control. You should do the same trust God don't stress out God's timing is perfect.

    Yes, you can call NVC they are very nice and helpful. They will give you your case number and ask when the file was shipped. Then track the package and see if the embassy got it.

      How did you ever get through, it's always busy when I call-any suggestions. So you got the NVC notice in the mail on the 14th?

      I did get my notice in the mail on the 14th. I called the number on the form. I went through automated for change of address. Then a very nice lady answered me and ask me if i needed to change address I told her i just need information and she very gladly answered me.

      thanks for the advice-turns out (after waiting forever to talk to a person) my packet was sent to the embassy in Lagos on July 2nd, even though my amended NOA2 says it was sent to NVC on July 7th, odd. But all good-thanks for the advice, it went way faster than we were expecting! Unfortunately Nigeria is slow. So we'll see...when the interview comes!

    Is the reference number the EAC reciept number or the A number or is there another reference number they send with the NOA2? Thanks and God Bless You

    If the check was cashed on the 25, wait maybe tuesday or wednesday the letter should be coming. That's what happened to me.
