  1. I got my NOA1 3/22.. a touch on 3/25... then nothing till 6/1. It's not that unusual to hear nothing until approval.

Yes I do hear or read about alot of cases being that way. Nothing to Approval but i wounder if it is the same towards thouse that get denied or get RFE'S. I believe that I gave them everything that they asked for but there is that chance that there was something that I could have over looked. Did i dot my I or cross my t.

Oh and Congrats to those that have gotten there NOA2's today. I know some have been waiting longer then others. For those that Are still waitinng hang in there this is only round 1.

  2. Boy there approval rate sucks ha? They really must not have that many individuals working on I129F's. Researching history the average gor the my spouses country for approval is around 6 a week...And if they go by order it is looking like another 4 weeks for mine...that is if I dotn have a RFE or if the people in front of me have an RFE. Who knows since well we dont have a real Idea how they actually break down the process. Paper work that cost hundreds of dollars. Gotta love it.

  3. Church,

Do not forget that there might be additional fees, translations, certifications, and things like that also. I know that I have to pay an additional 45 to the MRV price. And the plane tickets for my fiencee to fly from where she is to St Lukes, and the other additional things she has to go to. In all after the NOA2 is Approved im forking out almost a grand for the rest. Good thing I have been saving every penny since...Heck I even stoped smoking to save money hahaha.

  4. I imagine that our background checks have alot to do with it, not that I have ever done any thing wrong except for a couple speeding tickets, but mayeb because I have lived and worked out of the U.S before.....even though if they asked me to I would pull the same back ground checks that they do, would have saved them time...hahaha

  5. Ok so every oen of us knows that this process can be fast depending on whos pile your application is in, its only been 70 days now and well no word yet, as is the case for alot of us. We all check the USCIS webpage daily for updates without a date change. Now I deffinitly did not include a cover letter with my app. Does that really matter? And who knows what else could be wrong with my pettition for K1. So really there is nothing to do but wait for an approval or a RFE. Wish I would have known this site before doing my petittion. So if there is any encouraging word or advice, throw it at me.

The Vermont Service Center is slow at the moment and with an increese of a month wow. And since I am on a special duty assignment for the Army. I cant even put in for leave to go visit my fience again. I need a 90 day window for leave and well I would like to take a week, even though i get 30 a year i can only take a week vacation every quarter because of my duty. So I am in a bind. Other then that this process is slow and tourtering.

So what is the percentage of a RFE anyways?

  6. Are the USCIS and NVC very picky about what folders or types of tabs I use? Does anyone have photos of what their applications looked like when they sent them in? I hope it doesn't matter too much, maybe I am too paranoid. Any help is appreciated, kind regards

They are not that picky just as long as you have all the documentation there, it should not matter if it is in a pretty folder, more then likely they have there own folders there anyways

  7. Well if you look at the areas the Vermont Service Center Covers its a little understandable. Oh and this touched thing everyone does. What is that? Well I know that it meens that the paperwork has more or less been moved. But how are you recieving these so called touches...lets just say that its been all most 60 days and not even a touch haha..I guess that could be good or bad.

But yes the Vermont Service center is slower then the California one but it used to be vice versa a few years ago.
