  1. Now that you've already called them - they may have made a note in a database somewhere (did you tell them your names/case numbers?) in which case it could most definitely cause problems at POE. So at this point I would suggest you take it back and get it corrected.

i only gave them my name not hers or the case number or anything else

  2. Ok,

Well my fiencee got her passport back in the normal package, of course she did not open the brown envelope, but when we reviewed the actual visa page the Fiencee visa my zip code is wrong. What should we do? The address is correct but the actual zip code witch is sappose to be 04330 says 94330 ....I typed all the paperwork and there is no way at all that any of our paperwork said 94330.. Any suggestions or should we not worrie about it?

    Thanks a million everyone

  3. Well the only thing left foer her to to is PDOS stuff She already got her passport and package in the mail...Its great. We bought her plane ticket and she will be here september first. I am going to pick her up at the JFK airport. Its a 6 hr drive from where I am at now. Her interview was July 29th it went quick. I hope that everone is hanging in there. I guess I was one of the lucky ones Just like her getting everything in the mail so quick. Well Good luck to all..GOD bless and Good Luck...Now its on to another wounderful part of the everlasting Immigration pull....AOS I am coming at you swinging..

  4. curious about the PDOS? :) can you tell me more about this please...

    Here you go.

Foer veryone that is in manila just in case you guys did not know there is a course that has to be taking after the interview. Here is the website for the course. http://www.cfo.gov.ph/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=329&Itemid=78

If anyone needs anymore info on this please feel free to contact me or reply here.

Thanks everyone for all your help. Her interview is 29th june I am so excited..yippy yippy..oh and its only 350 usd for a k1 in the phils :)

  5. To all..

For those that are waiting still...keep pushing because after it goes threw USCIS it is fast sailing. My fience just got her physical done in manila...it is a two day thing because of test results. Her interview is the 29th but if you are from the philippines you have to do a PDOS thing it only takes a couple hrs but you can only do it after the interview and they need to stamp your passport.

So it looks like sept 1st will be when she is coming here. I am taking two weeks of vacation when she gets here.

Good luck to everyone your numbers will all be called eventually.

    God bless you all!!!

  6. Well her physical is today she will be there as soon as she can in the am they open at 730 philippine time. Nervous, excited and a little cranky....Work hrs and co workers are driving me nuts along with all the BS of the preoces. The good thing though is her interview is the 29th of July, I am asumming that things are going to be just fine as we dont have anything to hide. She will be just fine as was this her first flight also to go to take the physical. 1 or 2 days for the phys. I just cant wait untill this process is over and she is here. But my NOA 1 was march 23rd and her interview is july 29th so we did not have to wait as long as others, i jsut need to eat more and get some sleep that is my problem...its surprising how if you dont get enough sleep and you dont get enough food it will make you one stupid person.haha to those that are still waiting hang in there. For those that are already done with everything...best of luck to you

  7. tracked from DHL website according to the day they told me it left and saw that a package left portsmouth om 6-30 and arrived in Kyiv on 72 and who signed for it

    congratulations Garnier :dance::dance::dance::dance:

Mine was sent on the 2nd of july and was signed for on 6 july manila time. So looks like we are finally moving forward cranehand.

I am going to try calling them today to set up our interview. It is the 7th there for them so who knows I might get lucky and be able to get our interview soon. Doubt this month but maybe next month. Oh i cant wait. So frigging excited.

  8. OK I sorry I know this has been asked many times before. I tried tracking shipment from NVC to Kyiv for the dat NVC said they shipped it out. They said they shipped to Kyiv on 29 June so on DHL site I typed EXP 29 JUN 2010A for referance And a date range of 29 JUN to 29 JUN but still nothing :( Is EXP correct or is there another prefix for Kyiv ?

    Thanks all:)

try 28 jun instead of 29 jun for the Kyiv

  9. hello! i wonder how you find out about all those touches. we signed up for the email and text message alerts but haven't heard from them anything! they received our papers on march 22. and still nothing! so do they send you emails or texts about those touches or something else? please give me an incite! thank you!

If you look at the last action date when you sighn on to your USCIS account. Look at the date. If someone inf the office moves your file or if anything is done with it there the date will change. :)

  10. :help: I found out after I filed for our I-129F, that I needed to include an IMBRA Waiver. So, I called USCIS and they told me to send it in to have it attached to our file, but there was no guarantee that it would be attached but I could try. After a week or so USCIS sent it back to me with a general letter attached, stating thank you for your question and to call them with any additional question I may have, no real explanation why they sent it back. So I called the USCIS again, they told me that since they returned the letter to me it means they rejected it. Should we just wait for the RFE or should I go to my local USCIS office to see if I can have it added to our application. Thank you for all your help.

I am more or less in the same vote as you are. Actually my senators office called me and said that the i-129f was not being processed untill I resolved the I-130 I had filled jan of 09, I asked them what I could do and they had me call USCIS. Since I am military I use a different phone line. I called them and they said for me to make an appointment with an Immigration Information Officer. I did. I lost cell phone service and called back again and got a different person, They said the same thing. Here was my mistake, I called the othe USCIS hot line and got transfered so someone higher then the individuals that answer the phones, all she did was tell me that I am not sappose to be adjucated untill september and just wait like everyone else. She also said that I did not need to make an appointment with the Immigration Information Officer. If this is about the I-130 I had written a rewuest for a withdrawl for that I-130 sep 09, While I was in the Phillipines in March they mailed a letter stating that all action on that case has been stoped. Hoeever it was mailed to my place of work. I found this letter thursday at the office in the shred pile. It almost got shreded. So I guess I will have to wait for the RFE. Just like you. You might want to make an appointment with your local Immigration Information Officer. it is easy to do and if you need help doing it just ask. Best of luck to you. Hopefully we get our RFE's soon so we can move forward.

  11. Hello again fellow VJ members. I am currently waiting for my I-129F to be approved (crossing fingers) and wanted to get a head start in helping my fiancee in the Philippines prepare for her Visa interview. She's basically starting from scratch in the entire process. So I'm trying to outline what she should do in order from getting her NSO stuff to getting her Visa. Please let me know if this is correct or if I missed some steps or if I went out of order for the whole process. Thanks again in advance for all the support.

    Fiancee To Do List

    1. Visit NSO (Birth Cert & Cenomar)

    2. NBI Clearance

    3. Apply for passport

    4. Take passport style photos (3 total) (2 for interview & 1 for medical)

    5. Fill out DS-156, DS-157 and DS-156K forms (2 copies of each)

    6. Pay Visa Fee $350 (equivalent to PHP)

    7. Medical Exam at St. Lukes, Manila $213.35 (equivalent to PHP)

    8. Schedule Visa Interview??

I might be missing a few things or might be out of order (especially steps 6-8). BTW, I will be providing her with ALL the supporting documentation (pics, letters, copies of everything, I-134, etc) through express mail. Basically just want her to take care of the important stuff. Hope you guys can help me out! Look forward to the responses.

I think that is about correct

  12. When is your appointment with the Immigration officer? If you fax them a copy of your I-130 withdrawal letter, will that settle the matter? Maybe that would be faster then waiting for your appointment. I really couldn't tell you if that is good or bad. Maybe you can post this same question on the "K1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures" forum for a better answer.

    Good Luck

My appointment with an Immigration Officer is this monday. I am in Maine so it was not so hard. And as far as I was told by USCIS that I will be fine the Withdrawl was before the file date of the i129f

  13. Ok so here this goes. I will keep this as short as possible. Jan 2009 I filed a I-130 I was married at the time. Since she lied to me about who she was and her age and her sons age. I could not deal with it after tryng for months to make it work. I had it withdrawn sep 2009. I recieved the withdrawl noticed March. I was also Divorced in march. I had filled the the divorce papers in sep. made a mistake with them, moved and then refiled them at a different location and there is a 90 day wait period. Well since then I had met a beautiful loving caring woman, who did not lie about who she was and I asked her to marry me in march. I filed a i129f for her in march after I had recieved the notice that the 1-130 was withdrawn. I did an inguire on both the 1-130 and the i129f. My senitors office called me this after noon and told me that my I-129F was on hold untill the I-130 was resloved. Sounds like an RFE. But wait I have not recieved an RFE. I asked the senators office what I should do and they said that they would find out for me, and they told me to call USCIS and ask them also. I called them and here is what I got from them. 1st phone call. I was told to schedule an appointment with and Immigration officer and ask them. I lost my signal. I called back. Different person this time. I was told the same thing. Now I lost my signal again and I called back a third time. I also had a question about the Divorce decree wich there is nothing wrong with :), I told him about my senitors office calling me and tellin me about the I129f being on hold because of the I130 and then he transfered me to somone else, they reviewd my case and she pulled up the vermont processing time schedule and said well you have untill september for your i129f so there is no need for you to see an immigration officer, and she asked why i even contacted my senators office since it was not over the 6mth wait time. She then told me to have a good weekend and not to worrie about it and then that was the end of that conversation.

Ok so what the heck am I sappose to do. I made the appointment with the Immigration Officer for this monday at 1030.

How is my senitors office able to get this info and USCIS is not even tracking it?

  14. Ok well this is funny, My senators office called me today and said that they did the inquiry that I requested and that USCIS is requsting furhter evidence aka a RFE. However USCIS does not have a record of it? I called USCIS and I was told that I needed to set up and appointment with an Immigration Information Officer. And I did. Ok so if they are not tracking an RFE and they want me to go see an Immigration Officer..Is that bad?

I have been divorced and I had filled a i-130 last year in wich I did tell USCIS about. And according to my Senators Office USCIS is stating that they can not do any further processing with the i-129f untill the 1-130 is resolved. I have in my hand now a letter sent to me From USCIS in manila that the I-130 was withdrawn?

So it seems like this is a total mess. Should I be stressing? the letter states that the i130 was withdrawn 9 sept 2009.

  15. Well I did not do all of that. Just one Photo, copy of my passport with the stamps, and copies of my boarding pass, I made mine really simple. And I have not had an RFE either. So maybe ours is just in one of those piles waiting to picked out. Remeber these guys dont work 24 hrs a day 7 days a week. They are closed most saturdays and every sunday, and all holidays and so forth. Not only that they are human, Maybe some got behind or was on vacation for a little bit, or they had an emergancy, as much as I hate waiting, I can understand that our just might not be looked at untill later.

On the other hand, where is the structure? A 6mnth window is a really huge window. Can it be refined yes it can. Ever heard of the saying Hurry up and wait. Well this is the case. I have not tried calling anyone yet as its only been 80 days. But I imagine that if you where to call someone they would only be able to tell you what is in the system.

Yeah there is not alot of info that people are putting out in this forum. As is most prob dont know about it.

  16. This is such a tease watching people the day before, teh same day, and they day after get approved, I imagine that there is alot of people out there that have seen the same. Its like waiving a treat in front of a dog saying yes here you go , on second thought no not now sit boy and wait, patients is a virtue that I really need to work on hahahaha. Well for those we are on the second chapter congrats and for us still hanging in there, let it be today. :)

  17. VJ Rocks...ok well I know that this has nothing to do with a pettition but hey, ok so there was an issue with my initial contract coming back into the armed services (That issue has been Corrected) well because of that issue it has taking me a year to get some state taxs back from a state in wich i did not live in or do live on now. They paid me back for two of my years but then one of them they sent me a check for 233 even though it is sappose to be 1700...any suggestions they said it had to do with block 13 on the tax return but i am sure that they are doing what ever they can to keep that 1700 dollars now since I use H & R Block should I just take the check to them On monday and say hey get this fixed. Any suggestions?

Oh and for those that Have gotting there NOA2's already congrats and those that are still waiting exspecially those that have been waiting for awhile now. Hang in there because we are all riding the same boat. And this Boat will not sink.

Ok here is another question and this does pretain to a K1- Now with the new DS160 Wich me and my fience' filled out last night. is it safe to put the Reciept number from the NOA1 or should I wait untill NOA2 or what. Now we are filling it in Manila, Phils now looking at thier web sight do we still need to do the other forms also? I dont know its all gibberish to me. Any help would be greatful.

    Thanks again VJ members,

  18. 74 Days today...oh i can just imagine the people who have been waiting since december they must be going nuts..as is I am right now. Just watching the dates jump around, before after the same day, and yet still nothing not even a RFE yet. Not that I want one but atleast then it shows that someone is working on it. Hahaha. Congrats to those who are on the next step and let us know how that is going.
