Once you are at the NVC stage and you get the checklist letter from them, you will be able to get the PCC from the Ahmedabad office without any problems. Good luck.

Good luck to you! I know the feeling of being apart from your loved one, but just hang in there and my suggestion is, start getting all the documents ready for NVC while you are waiting for your I-130 approval, trust me, you will save time if you do. Good luck!

You will have to wait until your case is at NVC, since they are the only ones that issue the checklist. I don't know of any other way to get the PCC beforehand.

My husband took the checklist letter from NVC to obtain a PCC from the Ahmedabad office. The Ahmedabad office is very strict about having a checklist letter to obtain a PCC from them. Good luck.
