    What a journey it's been. Our baby girl arrived Wednesday 20 July 2011. She is beautiful and now our family is complete. I wish you all the best of luck, love and happiness as my journey has bought me.

    WOOOOHOOOOO 2 year green card approved for production today without interview nor RFE - massive thanks to the lovely Vanessa for her step by step instructions!!!

      It feels fantastic :) And yes we posted it to USCIS on 21 January so just over 2 months....absolutely over the moon. And Isabella will be USC by birthright so we are done and done my dear :)

    19 weeks pregnant and we found out today she's a little girl :) Just over the moon right now!!

      Thanks :) Life is good, been boring not working but my EAD/AP was approved today so not too bad - just under 3 weeks from biometrics so gotta be happy with that!!

    Ok it's official and I can now brag lol we are fully approved with our loan and the house is ours yay!!!!!!! Closing on the 29th March out of here fully on the 1st April woohooooo

    Is everyone elses work authorisation vaild for one year only? No the two years with your green card?

      The green card overrides the EAD so the theory is they only issue the EAD for one year as it should take less than one year for your green card to be produced which will replace it :)

    I just received a phone call from the DMV to say my residency is approved and I can go and get my license now lol but I have not heard anything yet from USCIS so obviously DMV records are updated yay!!!!!

    We got our marriage certificate. We're planning to get SSN first then file for AOS, apply for State ID and Driver's license. Is this ok? Also, I hope to begin working soon. Do I need to apply for EAD?

      You cant work without either an EAD or a green card - both of which will be received after you file for the AOS.
