    So I arrived in Johannesburg on the 12th May, as I landed I received a phone call from the US Embassy - they asked if I could make it for an interview THAT day... I could, so my friend took me, and I was APPROVED!!!!!! :D So I didn't end up having to wait until the 19th May for an interview - was in so much SHOCK!!

      I know right. I still can't believe I've had my interview already!! Well we hoping that i can fly on Monday next week - holding thumbs i can...

    Interview changed to the 19th May - they didn't realize it was a Public Holiday on the 18th :'(

      That's what i said... Oh well... I'm still over the moon that my interview is in 2 weeks time!! Can't wait to be with my love again and this time for good!! :)

    NVC received package - 15th April, got our case number today (YAY!), and it's apparently been sent to the embassy today!! Woohoo, things are moving now!! :D

      WOW 2 weeks and she'll be with you?? That's so exciting :) I have my unabridged birth certificate, police clearance and medical all ready :D so they asked to see extra evidence? I've got facebook messages, gmail chats, emails, photo's, and waiting for Dustin's package for the call logs, we have cards to each other, engagement congrats, all sorts... LOL! I'm getting quite nervous for it now! LOL

      try and get his police certificate as soon as possible. i've just updated my signature and about me - my own timelines - so you can get an idea of how long the police clearance takes... Also PLEASE make sure he has his unabridged birth certificate?? :)
