    hi, just to inform you, you cannot use your globe celphone to make an appointment cause i tried that myself. it says there only pldt & smart landlines.. though it'll be easier & cheaper i think if you let your fiance call & make an appointment from the states :) that's what we did, just be ready w/ personal info (case #, your email & home address) God bless

    hey, thanks... Really nervous though cause they denied me twice the tourist visa last year, haha :D... really happy for you guys... My cousin & her husband lives in Guam but are currently in Florida, her hubby is in the US navy... :P

    does anyone know how long does it usually take to get the visa after the interview??? super thanks! :)

      It usually takes around 3 working days but that depends on the place where they are going to deliver the visa but since your fiancee is just around manila so she will have her visa after 3 days.For those who are in provinces takes 5 working days.Goodluck on her upcoming interview!!!God Bless.

      If you Approved on the Same day of interview , Visa prepared on the next working day but it takes 3 days to 1 week to be in your hands, it depends how far you lived from US Consulate. Good Luck.

    can i call the US embassy's call center for appointment using my celphone??? or do i have to use a landline???

      Yes you can call using PLDT, make sure you have a credit card ready bec you will need to purchase the pin and you will be provided the pin right there which you can use to get an appointment-- also, make sure you have a proper email address.

    do K1 visa applicants still need to fill up a DS160 form?? or are the DS156 & DS157 enough already?

      Try re-doing it online and also print one to bring with you- the old form just in case, just to make sure you have every possible back you could use.

    can i do the medical exam without scheduling my interview yet??? i still dont have the complete requirements, esp the NBI clearance!!! Ugh!

      yes u can as long as you have any of the ff: notice of approval,or the nvc letter.as long as you already know your manila case number.you can have your medical
